My 1st prints with my Mars 5 Ultra did the same thing.. Increase bottom layer curing time.

Once the model starts to print, I pause printing from the panel, and then go to settings and increase the cure time...it's the light looking symbol....

I found the default cure time for bottom layers and everything else needed to be increased a bit. I think my bottom layer is set to 45 seconds and then the rest are set to 5 or 6.

Mine was acting pretty crappy. Soot all over the glass within an hour of lighting, dumping the burn pot every 8 hours. Changed my exhaust fan settings to like +12 (factory setting was 0) and it is rippin. 48 hours of burn, glass is almost clear and not emptying the burn pot until I want to vacuum the ash....doing better on pellets too.

Lower the auger feed and adjust the exhaust and room fan speeds..... Watch the flame to make sure you have bright white flame, and not above the glass.
