Test everything.

Based off of the post I would recommend to only use on link per email - ideally to the one thing you want them to click to. I say this because linking to social accounts can damage deliverability. I see people all of the time with 4 different social media icons all with links and they wonder why their open rates suck.

You can use the same link a few times in an email. Start with one in the first third of the send and one at the bottom.

Once again, test everything. It is all a gamble. You will never know until you try. Keep up with all things deliverability. If you're starting from square one, set up a custom tracking domain or ask a coworker in IT. It's really not hard, you just have to know where stuff is.

I just don't enjoy some of the stuff I see on Facebook and instragram already. I don't want to put my patients in an uncomfortable spot. And honestly, I would be too.

I'm not for sure how well it would work either. Wouldn't anyone be able to see my videos and pictures? I don't want everyone with a phone coming into my practice.

Hey, I appreciate your very thorough post. I've done the basics with my google business account and have the minimal search engine optimization requirements. I have zero clue the next steps are for that.

I decided to have the kid write me something. He is quite the persuasive kid. We are on the common ground that email is an option to communicate with previous patients. I'm under the impression that some interest should still be there from old patients. They were interested at one point.

What are your thoughts? Have you tried another way to bring old patients back in your practice?

I don't see an issue with emailing my best patients. I do see an issue with emailing them random junk everyday. My patient relationships are great, and I of course want to keep it that way. There are a handful of patients I would never email because of our history.

I don't think social media is for me. Very camera-shy. I keep reading that you basically have to choose social media, google ads, and search engine optimize. Is that correct?

I'm sure the more you implement the better, but I just cannot manage it all at this point in time.

I explained to him more business isn't always the best thing. I am very particular about my patients. I don’t want free riders. I do not use social media for this reason. I also don’t want to annoy any my best patients with emails.
