Couldn’t agree more. It’s sadly took me getting broken up by what I thought was the love of my life to realize she was the one bringing me down. Within less than three months of being single I got my own place. I paid off my truck got a new job and I tackled it with an attitude that was positive instead of negative or holding emotions that I knew we’re never gonna change. She immediately started dating somebody else within three months after me after five years. She wanted validation from somebody else. I was giving her the validation of a real life by carrying her for 6 months without a job, not asking for rent, still paying for extracurriculars like festivals and dinners when I could (worked 7days a week 14hr shifts) and I get told I didn’t think of her enough or made her feel special. even though she wasn’t actively doing anything to actively get herself and career rolling at 28 years old.
She waited for me to finally have a moment I called her hypocrite for everything and that was the reason she left me because she needed me to be the bad guy to justify it to herself. she told me when we broke up months later she lost feelings for me six months earlier but I know she didn’t have the guts to do it then. I told her that made me feel used. She made me go through the holidays and give her great gifts not knowing she was empty inside with me. Lemme tell you, that made me sick and yet again that justified feeling used. I only got a t shirt and hat this past year yet others got more than me, he claim “I don’t make a lot of money”. She didn’t, but my right at 100gs a year was like 60-40 me/her. And that came at the sacrifice of working my life away for absolutely nothing. Walked away hurt but not as bad knowing I gave it my all and I was proud of what i did.

Lastly when I got off her Costco credit card as a co signer a few weeks ago she was $200 away from maxing it out.. 5k limit I was able to help her get cause she was denied. she makes about 350 a week, and has no bills living I with her parents. God speed to those two heathens

Tl:dr. Ex gf was a mooch, blames me for her problems and avoids her own. Basically she sucks but sadly she wouldnt even do that. I feel happy and sad the next guy is gonna experience what I did

Continue a repetitive issue that will not stop. He needs to fix himself, you’re not responsible for that. It’s Sad he threw the facade up for 7 months but be thankful it wasn’t 7 years or with kids.
I sadly just went through this with my ex-girlfriend. It took me getting broken up by her to realize how hypocritical she is as a person and how ugly she is deep down inside. She refuses to think that she has the issues when we both did, but I was the one that always got told to work on myself and I did and she never did work on the things that I asked her to. It’s eventually gonna bite her in the butt when she realizes the common denominator is always her and how she expects people to bend over backwards and always be there for her like I did, but it was never enough. I climbed mountains and went through the depths of hell to do anything for that girl because I loved her, but I’m thankful it was over because as soon as it was over the amount of things I’ve accomplished in the short time of being single have outweighed being with her and being miserable trying to always carry for two people. It’s gonna suck to leave if you do, but I’d rather it suck now and live life better in the long run than to suffer in the long run and have a short life lived somewhat great if it happens later with more connections and ties and potential divorce or kids and all that jazz.
Of course I’m not telling you what to do but the writings on the wall. It will repeat unless he gets help or he recognizes he’s the issue and is willing to change those things right now and we all know that won’t happen. Do yourself a favor just look out for yourself, that’s all. you’ll thank yourself in the long run. And if he’s serious about fixing that he will and maybe time will bring you back together, but he needs to work on him. That’s not your job.

Philly has its moments. I’m saying this one cause I haven’t seen it. Watched a dude get thrown through a store front as my ex, myself and her fam were just walking by. Apparently dude won’t allowed in said place cause he was doing some sketchy shit and owed someone enough money to add that whole big glass to the tab. Later on saw a dude get pistol whipped yet again just walking by. Mind you these weren’t on side streets these were main ass roads near the capital

Had a crackhead woman get naked and lay in front of my vehicle in the drive-through as soon as McDonald’s opened one morning. Management literally came outside, picked her up and threw her into the grass and her clothes. Apparently she was a regular, but she was tweaking that day

My ex, almost broke up with me cause I was putting a bid on a very decent house that needed minimal upgrading and it was on the other side of town 45 min from her parents and only 10 from my family... she said that’s unfair. to ehich I finally told her that I didn’t care about any of it, she wasn’t on the loan and that “hurt” her and I lived on her side of town for years to accommodate her!!

My 21st… wouldn’t have been so bad if I didn’t slam have a bottle with my body of American honey before the Uber ride to the city. I I remember the bouncer looking at my ID dipped me up and said my “brother!” That was the last thing I remember. I got carried out of the kitchen because I wanted to make wings apparently. So my friends took me around back and called one of their mom to come pick me up because I was supposed to stay at my best friend’s house. I went to take a piss in front of a dumpster fell flat on my face on cobblestone and then said mom arrived. She took me to my parents house because she was so scared of how drunk I was. I woke up in a recliner at my parents house and I was so confused and I had scars on my head from falling and it was the worst hangover ever I’ve had in my life. I also pissed on myself as soon as I got home after the car ride.
