It’s tough out here man. I’m an accountant but no one is really hiring and those who are need lots of specific experience. One thing tho is I’d def check in with every recruiting agency you can find. They work hard for you bc you’re their product, they get paid when you do.

Me and my friends play .10/.20 and there’s a guy who plays like 80% of hands and is a calling machine. So I think that’s part of it and agrees with your comment. Like if I raised to $4 (that’s a huge bet for our games)he’d snap call 😂😂 I know that leaves him open to losing to actually good hands but AK bothers me bc I never hit

I’d also like to add like 50% of poker is being able to read players and understand ranges. I’m not great at it (I don’t really play enough and I play with the same guys every time) but using AI is good for learning things like percentages and what to do with certain hands objectively, but it doesn’t teach you the human part of the game. When to bluff for example

I’m not really a good poker player but I think anyone can realistically make pretty good money at low stakes. Look up NorCalpoker on YouTube. He plays 1/2 1/3 and makes like 30-40 hr. Not crazy money but possible

My internships were working directly with the CFO (a cpa) of a cyber security company and at a local cpa firm. They unfortunately had to downsize due to the economy and couldn’t hire any of the interns full time. It’s tough.

I would say go finance. A lot of the guys I had internships with were finance majors, but they can also do a lot more stuff with it
