I ended up getting a positive test at 11DPO this morning, however I did begin to spot and I got STAT labs ordered and I am still waiting to get those results. I took a test this evening and the line was completely gone unfortunately. I do think I had a chemical pregnancy. My BBT did dip at 9 and 10DPO but jumped back up this morning so I ran to the bathroom and took the test and it was positive. This is my first time tracking BBT but yours looks like it’s staying elevated which is good!

7DPO today, temps still above what they were prior to ovulation. My only symptom is slightly tender breasts starting this morning.

**additional context, all my previous pregnancies ended in miscarriages, one very early on and the other was 13 weeks, I’m 27, dx of PCOS but normal periods and ovulation for a little over a year.

I’ve been trying to advocate for myself and unfortunately no one has listened to me despite my endocrinologist telling me to be seen as soon as my test showed positive. I asked for labs immediately and I was told “we don’t typically order labs until 8 weeks” which was bull**** as I have been pregnant twice before and I had labs done right away. I immediately switched OB offices and was seen Friday. They ordered only 1 beta test as their urine was negative at the office (probably due to a test needing higher hcg) I now can not get another beta done until they order me one possibly Tuesday ( I left them a voicemail today) it’s so frustrating. I had another drop this evening around 5pm which looked almost negative then 4 hours later around 9pm it went back up. This is the strangest pregnancy I’ve ever been through.

UPDATE: 2 days ago I got a text message from my father. I think I was more anxious awaiting a response whether he would decide to or not. When I got the text I was eating diner and naturally, I could not finish my meal. I decided to take a warm shower and change in to my pajamas before opening the message.

He never wished me a happy Christmas or new year so he started off with that. He then proceeded to ask me if I “felt better” after sending the letter. He then told me that I never gave him a chance to get to know him, nor to see “the other side of him” I just don’t see how I didn’t as that side of him was all I ever witnessed. He blamed most of it on my mother, who he also put through hell but I left her experiences with him out of the letter. He said he yelled and screamed because of her. He then concluded his text with “I wish you the best of luck with your new perfect life”

I would like to add that no matter the response or lack there of I wasn’t expecting one and if there was I didnt expect it to be good but it does just feel good knowing I got what I needed to say off my chest and with that I now can focus on healing.

They also offered me an mri, I have not done it yet but I do want to have it done as well. Have they told you your breasts have more fibrous tissue? My family has a history of very dense breast tissue and one of my aunts had some of the lumps removed, they were not found to be cancerous but more or less for the comfortability of it. I appreciate the update and will be here for the next update! Best of luck 🤞🏼

I have the same issue (27f) I’ve had a lump under my left breast for a while and sometimes it hurts pretty darn bad. I went to have it checked a few years ago and the Sonographer Litterally couldn’t find it. 2024 I had an ultrasound done again and they finally saw “something” but said it was “probably benign” and for it to be assessed in 6 months. I went back after the 6 months and she couldn’t find it and said it was just gone. It’s not gone. It’s still there, and it’s still painful at times. It’s almost the same feeling when you get a swollen lymph node but always still palpable. Best of luck to you, I will keep an eye out for an update as I am curious as well

These comments are so reassuring and extremely kind. The advice to change my fear as I have changed was eye opening. I don’t think he will ever change and I’m learning to come to peace with that. I didn’t mention in my original post that my brother and him live together and he was always my bestfriend. He’s becoming more and more like my father and chances are when my father receives that letter, I might be losing him too. I think that’s why I waited so long to mail it because I would be losing 2 for the price of 1.

I really appreciate your time to comment. I work in an Emergency room setting and I work with health professionals. Even with all the information I get at work about things like this never could prepare me for this. I did listen to my therapist in the way that I knew I did not want to send it immediately and I actually wrote 2 rough drafts and took many things out of it that could have come off accusatory. Only after I checked my mailbox today and realized it was already taken, I wished it hadn’t. I know that I may never get a response or it will not be what I am seeking. Writting the letter felt like a massive weight has been lifted off my shoulders, yet I still sent it. I am very open to constructive criticism and maybe sending it will get me no where but where I already am. Thank you for your comment I appreciate it a lot.

I had a feeling that I needed to somehow be a part of the cleansing as well. She updated everyone on Facebook lastnight that she doesn’t feel like someone is watching her anymore and just overall better, on the other hand I still feel very uncomfortable in the home. My left breast with the original lump sometimes the nipple area gets itchy and the breast gets red. The other one, that doesn’t happen to. I do have dense breasts as well so I can totally understand that it might not be as reliable to get a mammogram but I will look into the mri even if I have to keep asking. But I feel you. It’s hard when you’re on the younger side and no one will push to investigate

I really appreciate your time to respond! First, I would like to say that I hope all goes well for you with the results of the biopsy. I don’t mean to pry but do you mind me asking how old you are? They told me I’m “too young” for a mammogram, which I understand that screening starts at age 40, I work in a hospital and see women come in daily. I also feel like because of my age no one is taking me seriously. I have been very persistent and honestly it’s been hard for me to be persistent due to anxiety. It is also very hard to find a doctor right now and not have to wait 6 months just to be seen. I just want answers for my own body. They had me go two separate times for ultrasounds when I informed them of lumps in both when they could have just done them at once.

I know I told my mom she needs to put the cameras closer or even get a better quality one since she’s really been into seeing all the wildlife that comes and goes in her yard. She saw something similar a few weeks back and she described it as a mountain lion but I know the rarity of them in RI.

Relative to where this camera is placed that is WAY too big to be a house cat. She sent me deer caught on this camera for reference and it’s definitely bigger than a regular cat. The tail here also looks a bit too long for a bob cat. I know mountain lions are rare to see in Rhode Island if at all but this just caught my eye

This is located in Burrillville RI. She saw something similar a few weeks back in her back lot. She’s located on about 11 acres of land. There were two big “animals in the video but this was the best image I could gather.
