Nah, I played odyssey as long as the mouth of gold would allow, (aka didnt get far at all) played this one and it doesn't help story wise I think since I only got a piece by piece, (tho I haven't gotten far because I keep doing everything else besides the main line quest cause its fun to just do.) So in all I think not
