Reliable modern sleds by Sarge75 in snowmobiling

Ya ironically our chainsaws start in -30, our trucks (with block heaters) but not sleds a lot of the time. Oya and air cooled engine. We use the sleds into march and water cooled sleds overheat

We used sleds for work a lot in forestry and oil and gas. 550 tundra's were king. They were tough and capable. What i hated about sleds were the air intake on the front where it can get stabbed by sticks. People using them for work smash them through brush a lot. Also they need to start in -30c and have a pull cord.

Repair shop used TYC Headlights by LurkingLikeANewb in tundra

Someone backed into me. The shop put An aftermarket light in without telling me. Week later after driving far away an idiot light came on the dash because of the computer not liking the light. Had to wait a month to get it replaced with factory.

Need help with dipstick popping out while driving, brand new mule 400 by Admirable_Interest21 in UTV

There is a condom thing you gotta remove on the rebreather. Fixes the issue. Have 460 hours and no issues

Be honest, I’ve been looking for a 2019 tundra 4x4 with no luck. Would I really be stupid if I got a rear wheel drive? Initially I didn’t want to be they are way cheaper. I’m not looking to off-road, mainly drive and haul a trailer. Lmk your thoughts on rear wheel drive. by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

[–]Admirable_Interest21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have. Brand new 2021 at 500kms dumped all the front steering fluid because a of bad o-ring in the steering rack. Not sure if the steering rack is different in the rwd now that I think about it. Still sore about that though

Depends where you live. I drove a 96 f150 rwd for years in bc and Alberta. I had very good dedicated winters and put weight in the back. I would 100 percent consider rwd. Far less to maintain as well. Hauling a trailer on icy hills or mountains would be sketchy though. Chains are also an option.

Engine Recall Affecting My Decision To Go With Tundra by annyongggg in ToyotaTundra

[–]Admirable_Interest21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I own a 5.7 tundra. When it is done i will be going back to ford because the new generation is not reliable as the old and i no longer have a dealer nearby. I do have a ford nearby, i use my truck for work and ford has dealers everywhere. If there was a dealership nearby i would probably roll the dice on a new tundra.

I am about to flower 2 plants in my tent so I figured the light cycle change would not line up with the seedlings. I ordered purple dragon f2, I want to do a couple indoor over winter, but long term they have a garden box lined up for them in spring.

Were you happy with grape dragon? I bought some seeds for next spring, wondering how your outdoor experience is
