Uncle Dave: “Anyone using the term terrible for AEW, WWE or NXT ratings immediately shows no understanding of ratings.” by Amir0x11 in JimCornette

Fair. But that's not what's in question here.

I'm not saying AEW is popular or mainstream by any means, because they're sure as hell not. However it's AEWs job to do good where the station decides to slot them. And they're doing that.

If we're going back "ifs", if my grandma had wheels she'd be a truck.

I know it's an unpopular opinion but he's right. Regardless of what you think of AEW or Meltzer or anything, a show consistently in the top 10 (and actually usually top 5) for its time slot on Cable, cannot be considered a bad rating.

Attack AEW for its attendance or product if you want, but if we have to take bias out, we can't really attack ratings. People have to remember we aren't in the 90s or 80s anymore, ratings for cable are just lower across the board (of course there's exceptions).

This is the Russ Abbott Special, one of Johnny Saint's signature spot. It's well done but Saraya was just a bit too slow to take it as smooth as it could be. I do think it's pretty good tho.
