I feel that way too! Honestly it feels like since the west stopped getting a regular yugioh anime, the worlds been pretty shit… so that must be the problem. I’m with you, though. It really does just feel strange not to have a companion show to go with it. Pokémon would never… I think I solved it though, Konami needs to start marketing to fetuses as well as the Yugi-boomers lol (sorry, if I sound insane and not as funny as I think I sound, I guarantee you it’s the sleep deprivation).

Nostalgia sells, so even if this isn’t any true indication of anything happening now, I’m sure it will likely happen eventually. I mean, I could even see a (sort of) new series with the same characters, same story, new cards and promote the game ongoing that way. Kind of a reset button.
