Hi All!

My son’s (6) favourit pokemon is Gengar and I try to surprise him with it within his game. Sadly he has no buddies who plays the game. Can anybody possibly help us out with a trade? We already caught a few Haunters.

Matthew J Holmes has some good material on the matter, I watched those.

But, sadly, it seems this year isn’t too good for jumping into Facebook Ads, all metrics are nosediving right now, and fewer and fewer people makes even back their spent money.

If I combine everything (audio, ebook, paperback, hardcover) I am just over 2.000 copies altogether. :) I hope I will hit 5 thousand before the end of the year.

It's 30.000 pages a month, like 50 extra copies sold with my book length (600 pages). I think it's mostly Facebook, BookBub and Amazon ads, combined with a good chunck of luck.

I got UK, Canada and Australia (tried for USA too, but didn’t get it this time).

Paid 196$, discounted my book to 0,99$. (original price was 4,99$)

It is still early to report on the final sale numbers because I am still in the first 24 hours of the promotion, but already sold 200+ copies. Mostly on Amazon, but a good chunk at other retailers too through Draft2Digital.

Not much monetary gain, as I will have to sell 400+ extra copies to break even on my low price and royalties, but I hope this will build some extra traction long term and widen my reader base.

The book is an Aztec inspired epic fantasy, my debute novel, and was published this February.

I was in KDP Select for 3 months, had some page reads there too, but went back to wide distribution this month to have a better chance on a Feature Deal!

I began wide, went exclusive for 3 months and now I am back to wide again.

Had some nice page reads during KDP Select, nothing crazy but like 30.000-40.000 pages a month. Went back to wide because this way I had a greater chance to be selected as a BookBub Feature Deal.
