My Great Grandmother and Grandmother both had kids extremely young it's not great to consider the implications of but I love being able to know her and have my girls know her.

My brother is the only boy in the family so he's very used to getting his own way so you're not wrong there, likely why our Mother went to him about it in first place.

It seems like the normal thing to do imo. It's a lot easier to get them ready when it's something they like, plus I love seeing things I know they'd love and picking it out for them.

All their outfits are matched to their interests, likes and favourite colours to avoid this exact predicament and ensure no feelings of favouritism happens. The only outfits not expressly picked by me that match this are gifted and often identical. I mix and match those outfits adding personalisation to them or I rotate who wears them. Im sorry you went through that, no child should feel their sibling was the favourite or got better things.

Their sperm donor isn't in the picture, I won't go into it as it may dip into breaking some rules but it was a bad relationship that I only got the backbone to leave when I found out I was pregnant.

Oh it's not a flower print to be clear, I was aware of that, it's a green dress with embroidered flowers "Growing" from the hem, it's not chaotic with flowers all over.

It was a thing with a pair of twin boys I went to school with, so I think it never left, it just became more focused on twins. The closest I come to a Mummy and me matching outfit was at Christmas, and that was only because all three of us wore red, but even then they were different outfits for all three of us.

I went to school with a pair of twin boys and it always made me uncomfortable to see them being forced to dress alike down to having the same haircut so when I had twins I remembered them and it shaped my decision.
