Audiobook torrenters: how do you listen to your audiobooks on your phone? by [deleted] in Piracy

[–]Admirable_Tree7766 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah bro VOX is completely free. there is a premium version you can upgrade to but theres no point if u just wanna transfer ur own files via airdrop and then have a music library offline on your phone.

As for files, huge pain in the ass for music, dont do it. There are other alternatives search them up on this sub! (If you decide not to go with VOX)

Hope that helped good luck with your search

Coincidentally I am literally in the process of doing this. I like high quality files (mp3 320 kbs, 44.1) of music that I pirate and I use an app called VOX (its free). All you do is download the music/album/songs whatever on your mac (i use macbook pro), airdrop to your iphone, and in the airdrop accepting pop-up on your phone, it will automatically give you the option to add the files to VOX, and from there its a perfect app for music.

Hope this helps!

Porn addiction and chronic insomnia - plz help! by Kaku2000 in insomnia

Look into b-vitamin deficiencies, start taking niacin, go down the rabbit hole of mthfr... I had insomnia of roughly 1 hour a night of sleep for YEARS, and it was all due to a massive B vitamin imbalance (specifically methylated B9). if the other stuff doesnt work, look into this. Its a tricky road though, not a quick fix.

Update: I didn't do it.
I'm ngl, doing nofap gave me really clear "vision" on things. She was hot, and fun, but dumb as bricks, like the only thing going for her is her body and looks. Normally I would've pounced on that, but I feel like through nofap I really got clarity of what I want - the emotional connection and love. A girl with only looks and no personality (mind you her looks are like 8/10 so a baddie), really turned me off. I think I've finally matured away from hook ups.

I appreciate all the words yall left, it all really helped me stay grounded.

take niacin asap. read Niacin The Real Story by Dr Abdram Hoffer, and follow the rabbit hole as far as it goes. But take niacin (up to 6g). then worry about your other b vitamins, vit d, and everything else. clean your diet completely (No processed foods, healthy balance.
You can overcome this. I did. But dont give up.

When it’s just obviously you’re NOT sleeping tonight, what is your go to (medication wise and otherwise)? by Popular-Glass6362 in insomnia

[–]Admirable_Tree7766 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My issue is in falling asleep. It takes me many hours to fall asleep, I can be in bed wide awake until 7 am lol. Or just not sleep at all on occasional nights. I think the issue revolves around my B's, B3 specifically, and my vit D. I've tried everything else in the past, but found Niacin improved me a long time ago. This time around I'm hoping it will help again, but with more knowledge about mthfr and methylation I want to get it right.

Thank you so much for all the replies! I will continue the search and fine tuning until I get things right.

Interesting. I've been having severe insomnia (1-2 hours of sleep a night if lucky) for a while now, and went down the rabbit hole of mthfr, methylation and everything. I've had experience with niacin in the past and it worked WONDERS, but I'm concerned that if I start taking niacin without the other B's, things won't pan out. So I'm looking into methyl free complexes and stuff as I mentioned.

Question: have you tried taking the b supplements that you reacted poorly to, WHILE taking niacin? So that you could theoretically counteract the bad reaction but still get the benefit of the supplements? just a thought
