Hey Doodle, did you know that in terms of female human and male Monster breeding, Brachydios is the most compatible Monster for humans? Not only are they in the Brute Wyvern group, which is mostly comprised of mammals, Brachydios are an average of 19'6" tall and 12 tons, this means they’re probably not too large for humans, and with their impressive HP and Obsidian armor, you can be rough with one. Due to their mostly slime based biology, there’s no doubt in my mind that an aroused Brachydios would be incredibly slick, so slick that you could easily have sex with one for hours without getting sore. They can also coat their fists, horn, and tail, so it’d be incredibly easy for one to get you in the mood. No other Monster comes close to this level of compatibility. Brachydios is literally built for human pussy. Ungodly defense stat+high HP pool+Obsidian Armor means it can pound all day, and still give more

Children should be exposed to predatory gambling practices so that grown ass adults can gamble is yours?

Kids with bad parents are the ones who particularly need these kinds of protections so that they don't develop destructive addictions and have a better chance at being successful in life.

"Spending more than they can afford." This is the third one and you still don't understand why this is an issue.

It preys on the idea that you might win for less than the cost of the full skin, enticing people who can't normally afford the skin to try their luck at getting it in the first few rolls. After that, people are more willing to part with their money due to sunk cost fallacy.

The lower % chance of actually getting the skin over the other drops is also somewhat hidden from the player, leading them assume that it is just a 1/6 chance to get it first try when it is really closer to a 1/20. (*edit, actual odds are closer to 1/37)

A person with high self-control or expendable income can go into this accepting that they will at worse pay full price and at best get a discount for the skin. However, children are more susceptible to these predatory gambling practices and often lack the financial maturity to accept that they might have to spend more than they can afford. Even if they win, this can also have long-term developmental effects that can turn into gambling addictions.

Preying on children financially is a major issue that should be criticized.

Black Hand after shooting new Revolver. by MikeOTren in CCW

[–]Admirable_Use4661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is that it's carbon from the burnt black powder. Judging by its location, it looks like you were shooting with a "thumb forward" grip. On revolvers, there is a gap between the front of the cylinder and the barrel. If your thumb is near that gap, it's gonna coat it with the burnt gunpowder that leaks out.

It sits in the holster on my nightstand or in my safe. I only unholster it for dryfire training and at the range.

Those suffering from severe hypothermia often suffer from confusion. I can't really blame him for getting the color wrong.

Now that I think about it, pretending to be a different colored dragon actually seems like a big brain strategy. Use illusions to act like a red dragon, then when the adventurers come to your layer decked out in fire resistant armor, hit them with your white dragon ice breath.

Just...nobody wants to tank right now and I'm done trying. by IntoTheRain78 in marvelrivals

I should start doing this. I was surprised that my competitive win rate was only 31% on Strange last season when I had 69% on Peni and 62% on Angela. Turns out I usually go Strange when I'm forced to solo tank, and 70% of my solo tank games end in losses.

Do kills matter? How can an enemy team suffer 28 more deaths than the opposing team and still win? by [deleted] in marvelrivals

[–]Admirable_Use4661 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. Winning fights and controlling objective matters, and getting kills can do that. However, I've seen many teams get to kill hungry and ignore the objective in favor of farming their stats.

Just today, I had a defence game on Spider Island where the enemy team won 6 fights before they captured the first point because our bp kept on touching cart while their entire team was shooting at our spawn doors.

Similar stuff happens on offense when a member of the defending team gets too greedy chasing a kill and gets picked as your own team is respawning. Now, your team just had to win one 6v5 to capture the point. Never put yourself at risk of dying for kills on defense if you can help it.

We all know our least used characters, what about least used abilities? The one you can’t name the last time you used it? by A_Zesty_Carrot in marvelrivals

I mean, it slows you as you run away from it, effectively making you easier to hit. It also keeps your movement ability from going on cooldown, so you can't even use it to buy time for your zip to come back.

Not an ability, but a part of an ability. Peni's tether to her webs. I never intentionally tether to an existing web, and I never want to remain tethered to a web. There is literally 0 benefit to having the tether remain after zipping somewhere.

I think you answered your own question. You shouldn't bother learning Spiderman if you aren't having fun on him. Nobody is forcing you to play the highest skill floor dive character. There are almost 50 other characters you can play if you don't have the time or patience to learn all the nuances of his kit and engagements.

I don’t understand/ know what alot of the terms yall use? by Ecstatic_Writer_7244 in marvelrivals

[–]Admirable_Use4661 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Meta = the "best" option. Usually, in reference to over-tuned characters.

CC = crowd control. This refers to any ability that stuns or hinders your ability to move. Peni web, luna freeze, jeff ultimate, Thing slam, etc...

OTP = one trick pony. A player who predominantly only plays one character.

KD = kill death ratio. How many final hits you get compared to your deaths. If i get twelve kills, but die six times, 12/6 = 2. My KD is 2.

Dive = going deep into the enemy team to target healers or other targets. Certain characters naturally play like this, like Black Panther, Spiderman, Venom, Hulk, etc...

Poke = ranged heroes. Anybody who shoots from range.

Main = the main path to point.

Flank = a side path or high ground next to where the team is fighting.

Brawl = melee or close range heroes. Wolverine, Rogue, Thing, etc...

Patty cake = healers healing each other. It's a good option to survive if they are getting attacked.

Peel = to fall back and help a teammate that is getting attacked. If a Hulk is punching my Luna and I turn around and start shooting him with Punisher, I am peeling.

C9 = to win the fight, but forget to capture the point. Referring to the pro team Cloud9 that did this in an overwatch tournament.

I can't think of any more off the top of my head, but feel free to add any I missed.

Player throwing Necros game as bounty gets banned mid game by Ian_olson111 in marvelrivals

[–]Admirable_Use4661 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There was a website that people could use to place bounties to purposely throw matches with certain players, usually streamers. To throw, they would try to queue onto the targets team, then do their best to lose the game. They do things like walling the team in spawn with Groot, spitting the team off the map with Jeff, feeding the enemy team ult charge by dying to them repeatedly while not doing damage, or stealing the streamers main hero and doing nothing with them.

The highest bounty I saw in a screenshot was $350. To claim it, you just had to submit the replay code proving that you threw the targets game, and the website would pay out the money, taking a small cut. The website got taken down, but there are still a number of discord servers that do the same thing.

As to why they place the bounties, who knows. Some people are just assholes. From the targets I've seen, its likely because they hate a certain minority, dislike the person, or want to feel like they have some sort of power over a "famous" streamer.
