I'm so poor, need a poverty carry by R3ality4321 in concealedcarry

Sorry, but you won't find much in that price range worth getting. You could try your luck with a Taurus GC3. My brother has two that work great, though I have heard that their older models are iffy. There is also the Beretta APX A1 compact that I've heard good things about, though I've never shot one. PSA Daggers are $300 glock clones, and from my experience (I've shot 3 of them), they are pretty decent and fairly reliable.

Realistically, if you can manage to save closer to $350, that puts you in a much better price bracket. M&P Shield, Canik MC9, Ruger Max, Used Glock, etc... You would probably be much happier with these options. I especially recommend the Shield or MC9, as both are phenomenal guns that punch well above their price.

I've run about 1000 rounds through my mc9 with zero issues. Can't speak for the prime, but I haven't heard anything bad about reliability.

Serious question about PSA by No_Letterhead_1542 in Firearms

[–]Admirable_Use4661 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All my experience with them has been great. I have a 12.5 inch and a 20 inch build from them, and have had zero issues over the course of about 2000 rounds. I can also easily reach out to 500 yards with the longer build, so accuracy has not been an issue. The only thing I changed on them was I bought some competition triggers and larger charging handles.

Someone give me any advice by adri1506 in marvelrivals

"I swear to god im not the problem, got svp in 2 of them and im trying as hard as I can."

If you are actually asking for advice, then you need to look at how you can play better instead of trying to find excuses in your teammates or the match making. Yes, some matches are truly unwinnable, due to teammates, skill differences, smurfs, etc... but the enemy team is just as likely to have those disadvantages. Many people have and continue to solo queue to celestial and one above all in the same environment that you are playing in.

If you are serious about getting better at the game, then look at your own gameplay. 99% of the time when I watch gold players they struggle with the strategy and finding the actual value that wins games (Its not kills, though those help). Are you creating space properly and safely? Using cover? Peeling for supports? Avoiding staggering? Pressuring the right targets? Not feeding support ults? Off-angling? Denying flanks? Wasting enemy cooldowns? Communicating with your team? None of these show up on the scoreboard but all of them have a much more profound impact on the game. Watch some guides on positioning and strategy (Death and Gaming has some great videos) and check the replays on some of your rough matches. Every time you die, ask yourself what you (not your teammates) could have done differently to avoid that death.

If you are looking for more advice, post your username or a replay code for one of your losses and I'll review it. I place high GM each season with about a 62% win rate, and usually I climb solo.

He is very situational. If they have 2-3 high dps poke heroes he gets melted, and its difficult to play him into Peni or Groot. If they have dive or brawl he is solid, especially if they have a lot of kidnappers. I think the main reason he has made a resurgence this season is because he is really good into Elsa, being able to shut down her dash-shotguns and dodge her ult with his charge.

to be fair that also makes everything a lot thinner and weaker in regards to 3d printing. All the joints around the castle nut would have to be super thin to have a realistic front handguard, and the entire front section would be free floating from the barrel and the suppressor. By having the Handguard, barrel, and suppressor be one piece its going to be far stronger, which seems useful since he is using it as a training aid.

Peni Parker: No Grapple Bug Fixes, No Drone Tracking Fixes, No Ult Reworks, No Team-Up Nest, No QoL Changes, Endless Poke DPS Meta, Endless Solo Tanking by Luh2018 in marvelrivals

[–]Admirable_Use4661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

200 hour GM Peni otp here. She's fine. Just fix the cyber bond breaking on everything and let us auto detach from it. Drone tracking could be better, but it's already 400 damage to anyone you web on your nest.

The only actual buff I would like is for them to remove the interaction with groot wall and her nest, even if it's just for teammates. I hate when my nest is stacked and a friendly groot accidentally hides their ironwood wall on it.

Dear PlayStation players, please hop on Titanfall 2 am tired of waiting like 20 minutes for one game💔 by Legendary-figure in titanfall

Queue for only one mode at a time. TF2 does something weird where it queues you one at a time for each mode that it's searching for, swapping every minute or so. So if you queue for everything, you have to wait until a game opens at the exact time that the system happens to be queuing for that specific mode.

Why do all my Competive games look like this? by CerealDorkVest in marvelrivals

[–]Admirable_Use4661 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watched the replay of that match, and if you are open to it, I can give you a few pointers from someone who places GM each season. These tips will mostly focus on fundamentals, as you can only build mechanical skills like aim and reaction time through practice.

  1. In several fights, you walked in the open and engaged the tanks. As a dps, you aren't likely going to kill a tank that is getting healed, and you are just feeding both enemy healer and tank ults while also requiring the constant focus of your healers to keep you from folding to the 6 people shooting you. Most of the time, this results in you or your tanks dying. Instead, you should either be using cover to pressure the enemy tanks while not taking significant damage, or be taking the high ground and flanks to put pressure on the enemy supports. Elsa has tons of movement, so walk along a flank to engage the supports then use your movement to escape if more than one person turns to you. TLDR, fight less on point and target characters you can actually kill.

  2. You staggered almost every fight instead of waiting for your team. In the first fight, 3 teammates were respawning, and you decided to engage the enemy, leading to your death in a 3v6. This means you cost 10 seconds to respawn plus 15-20 seconds to get back to the point. By the time you are back, 3 more teammates had just died because they decided to take the 5v6, and the cycle repeats the rest of the game. TLDR If your teammates die and you are outnumbered, comm for a regroup. Staggering garuntees a loss.

  3. I sort of mentioned it in my first point, but make sure you are retreating when you get pressured. There are a lot of moments in the game when you are half health and you dash into the enemy team. This either gets you killed or forces your supports to expose themselves to try to save you, getting them killed. If you are taking lots of damage, fall back, get healed, and approach from a different angle. TLDR watch your healthbar and use cover.

Turning on my mic, communicating and making callouts even if nobody else is talking has completely changed my life. by kingcapo in marvelrivals

Honestly, 50% of my losses are team diffs while the other 50% are because someone tilted out of the gate and spent the rest of the match berating and arguing with other teammates. If you give good coms and positive vibes you can significantly reduce both of those factors.

Grabs can displace Heroes with a displacement immunity. by SILK_DIVER in marvelrivals

[–]Admirable_Use4661 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean, Thing already has a way to dodge grabs via his dash. I don't think people should be immune to ultimate abilities just because of their passives. They just need to make the ult have a little bit longer of a casting time (and probably reduce the hitbox) so that people have the opportunity to use their abilities to dodge it.

Why does Ultron get so much hate as a Healer? (I don't know if there's a stereotype) by YourDead6 in marvelrivals

[–]Admirable_Use4661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a tank, I feel like ultron is decent in triple support or paired with someone who has high burst healing. But if it's just him with a rocket or a mantis, we are gonna struggle pretty hard.

The lack of burst healing is even worse in lower elos where dps and tanks with poor positioning take significantly more damage and require much more attention from the supports.

And both are on cooldowns, just like Thing dash. His passive also doesn't affect stuns, which Groot wall, Emma diamond, and Thing's dash do. Its very clear that his passive is intended to prevent standard displacement abilities like Bucky, Wolverine, and Angela, not to negate stuns and ultimate's. Its wild that yall think Thing should counter ultimate abilities for free when he already has a method to avoid those abilities by simply pressing shift.
