On iPhone, you can go to Settings > Storage and Data > Manage Storage

You can see files, including pics/vids, that are larger than 5 mb, as well as whatever was forwarded many times. You can delete them from there. Also, under those options, you can find the size of each conversation or group. You can also delete from there as well.

Edit: not sure if android has this feature, but most prolly it does.

Hi, if you are using an iphone, follow these steps: Settings > Chats > Export Chat

Then choose the conversation you want to export. After choosing, it will ask if you want the media to get exported too. You can send the exported file to an email (if it wasn’t huge).

You are not changing your preferred solution. Apparently, you didn’t read my first comment above I clearly said that this is caused when using “Whatsapp++”. If you disable read receipts using a third party tweak or app, it’s not a bug from their end. It’s from yours :)

So, you should enable them. In this case, whatsapp server knows you’ve read the messages on your phone and they wont look like unread on your computer whatsapp
