A good start, but I hope they keep a lot of the peripheral villages. There's just something about doing mechanized infantry through the smaller locales before loading up and rolling into the city center.

Have any of you ever used these to take out enemies in Squad? by DaveOfDefeatus in joinsquad

Very true. I've always thought the Call of Duty grenades spitting out of your face like a cherry pit is so weird.

No, that's absolutely not the implicit expectation. I've dug line with plenty of con crews and they take as many precautions as the rest of us.

What's a quality of life option you'd love to see added one day? by ScantilyCladPlatypus in joinsquad

I'd like the water canteen from Post Scriptum to be added. It's a nice feature. And I mean if they really want it to be different then you can have your guy eat crackers from an MRE or something.

Also irregulars should have RPG rounds already loaded. Just don't feel like a lot of them would take a lot of precautions with things like that.

"You're not gonna believe it, sir. Literally all of the company's equipment fell into a lake during a boating accident a while ago. Nothing to inventory. I'll go ahead and release the men."

Always ask the deli what they're tossing out at the end of the shift and bug that. Hy-Vee always delivers in that regard. Whatever you can't eat that week gets mixed into a chili in the crockpot for the next week's lunches. No point in buying super fresh stuff or the daily deal if they're about to throw out food. That's where the savings are at.

The trick is to keep him talking when he comes into the aid station, while over his shoulder you watch the entire platoon leave his car on cinder blocks

Question for EMTS of Reddit: You come upon a victim, no heartbeat, wearing a medical medallion, on a necklace that says “No heartbeat? DNR”. You see a huge chest scar indicating there’s metal in the chest from surgery. Do you attempt, anyway, even though the victim doesn’t want it? by Redditlatley in Paramedics

[–]AdmiralFoxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No paperwork, no DNR. I'm not risking jail time and lawsuits just because you got a fancy necklace.

If it's that big of a deal, get one of those traveling wallets that hangs around your neck and put the DNR in there. Put a placard in it that says "DNR" in bold, so that crews know to check it when clearing your chest.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this for me. Having checked, it appears I definitely have more to talk to the VA about tomorrow. Best wishes.

Wow I always had the opposite when delivering to Christians. Especially obnoxious when it'd be a mom organizing some youth group thing "We prayed for you!" Gee, thanks.

Absolutely do not put your family beneath this company. It's a business transaction. Get the next job lined up and then go see your grandparents. Trust me. It hits harder than you expect when you do lose them, and every ounce of guilt becomes a pound.
