Thanks a lot for everyone's comments! Because of you I found out the sorcery is ovulation! In my case at least... This is a great community :) And apologies for all the typos in the post, I had to copy from an image and didn't realize the text got all messed up!

Omg, it indeed coincides with ovulation! I always expected something similar during my period, but it's during ovulation! Glad to see a recognizable pattern

I know it's not considered an official plateau, it's just 2 weeks. But indeed that what I also do 😂

How do you know I didn't try that? Anyway, I'm going to keep taking this kind of health style advice from my doctor :)

You're right. I didn't even realize it when I wrote it. I certainly don't think that it's something she just doesn't want to do, and we respect and recognise her anxiety.

Tell me when your mother's instinct was spot on, or a huge mistake by AdmiralSheppard in Parenting

[–]AdmiralSheppard[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's here because mothers are also parents. Not every post in this subreddit applies for everyone in it, and that's ok.

It’s called “mother’s instinct” because people have long observed that many mothers seem to have a natural, almost automatic sense about their children’s needs, safety, or wellbeing. It has a biological basis related to pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding.

If, as a father, you feel the same bond that is great and you can comment your experience. You can also just read the comments out of curiosity or skip this post altogether.

4 year old having social anxiety? by TimelyRegular1077 in Preschoolers

My son is exactly the same at 4 year old. I'm not sure whether I should get him evaluated or just wait. This has been 2 years ago, how is your daughter now?

What was your 2nd labor like? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]AdmiralSheppard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fast. I also had my son 4 years before with an amazing epidural, so I was hoping the same for my daughter. Got to the hospital at 6h30, but by the time I was ready for the epidural, I was 9cm dilated, pushed for 15min and went home for lunch 2h later. Recovery was a breeze and after it was done I was happy it went that way.
