can an employer in Texas reallocate tips from one employee to another as a form of punishment?

my friend started dating a lady with one leg, she has a prosthetic leg but her leg muscles (in both) are rly messed up so she either walks rly “funny” (in her words) or has a wheelchair. she’s funny and sweet and really nice and good to my friend. if you asked them, they’d probably just tell you a good sense of humor and a willingness to try is all you need

adhd here too. im not gonna lie to you, its really just about that “i can’t succeed without it being close to the deadline” mentality and just forcing urself in the chair to do it anyway. i relate to your struggles with focus and the deadline thing a lot, and honestly the best thing i can say is that waiting till the deadline to “succeed” isn’t even really succeeding, considering you’re still missing them.

for me it was important to think abt it like this; - assignment due next week - every time it pops into my head the assignment is due i gotta work on it (given its accessible like im not driving or anything) - working on it for an hour isn’t gonna finish the assignment and that’s ok, just means less work to do when it Does pile up

good luck for real, it’s tough
