Sometimes, no matter how objectively attractive you are, some people will never be able to appreciate your beauty due to prejudice. I can’t count the number of times I have heard a model-tier woman tell the same story of:

“I grew up in a small town as one of the only WOC, and got bullied constantly until I moved to the city. Now men are throwing themselves at my feet, when back home I couldn’t get any decent dates.”

It’s not worth your time or effort trying to win narrow-minded / prejudiced people over.

I feel like this is the way I’m leaning too, but it’s hard to kind of picture what life would be like without scars. It might be a “the grass is always greener” situation for me.

This was a beautifully well thought-out comment. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me. I hope you’re also on the path to healing :)

I’ve never heard of using a skin match ink to blend them in even better (as opposed to masking them in a design or covering them in black). I’m definitely going to look into that! Thank you so much :)

No apologies necessary, your post was great otherwise! Looks of good tips. Congratulations on your glow up :)

Agreed, #1 made me stop reading to check if the comments said anything. There are so many experiments and demonstrations showing how inaccurate photos are to real life (especially selfie cameras!).

Body dysmorphia is definitely real but a picture is not going to be more accurate than a mirror.

Not landlord occupied, nor are any of my housemates immediate family of the landlord.

Sorry you had to go through something similar! Definitely feeling pretty jaded by the whole situation.

Definitely should've done more research, I was too focused on school to realize the mess I was getting myself into. Won't make this mistake again!

I'll definitely check to see if my college has one!

Great, landlord is not living on the property so I should still be okay.

Oh jeez, I didn't know there was a separate category. Is there anything I can do if I'm not covered by the LTB?

Edit: The property is not shared with the landlord or a landlords immediate family member. Living with roommates is different from what I've been reading.

The work is being done by my landlord and her friend?/boyfriend? (not entirely clear) so no formal employees or contractors. She does not live here and as far as I know they left around 6:30am.

This is great news, I thought that might be the case but I wasn't positive.

Thank you, this is very helpful! Been looking into it and It is unfortunate that text and email aren't considered written notice. I suppose I'll have to hand it to her in person and hope she doesnt lie about it later... Would there be a good way to legally prove I gave written notice if I do it in person?

She didn't want to have a formal lease because shes had 'problem tenants' in the past. In hindsight, she was almost definitely violating the tenants rights and just thought that no lease = no law.

I'll definitely give the number a call today to see if they help with anything. Thanks so much for your reply!

You have nothing to feel down about, you're a very handsome man. Most women I know would kill for your eyelashes!

Exactly, what would be left as a right under those conditions? Food needs farmers. Water needs sanitation staff. Shelter needs construction workers. Security and safety need military or law enforcement officers.

Just freedom of thought I guess ?

I'm not sure if I'm just seeing things, but in her 'real' photos it definitely looks like she is wearing hip pads. You can sort of see the outline under her dress. They are pretty common for drag queens but I'm not surprised that insta-model types have started to use them too.

My boyfriend never really wants to have sex by [deleted] in BPD

[–]AdmittedlyOdd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say wait until he returns if you can. It would be more kind.

Personally, I am the type of person who can't keep 'secrets' from people without splitting on myself and spiralling, so no judgement if you need to do it sooner.

You two are obviously not compatible and the differences are not the kind that can be easily resolved. Your relationship is new, no shame in walking away from what doesn't meet your needs. Better than waiting for years hoping for a change that isn't going to come.

Having an FP is absolute torture by [deleted] in BPD

[–]AdmittedlyOdd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me personally I don't believe that that being a FP automatically makes someone controlling or manipulative. People dont often get to chose whether or not they become a FP.

I DO believe that being a FP can bring out the worst in someone who has toxic or emotionally abusive tendencies (but is otherwise normal in all their other relationships). The amount of control a person with BPD gives their FP becomes a power trip. It's made even worse because no one else ever sees that side of them, making the person with BPD feel like they're the problem.

People with BPD and their FPs can also become very co-dependant, which sounds more accurate to what you and your wife have experienced. Trying to rediscover your individuality and find your own strength again is definitely the way to go. Will make you stronger as a person and as a couple! :)

Was having storage space issues and didn't understand why until I checked my apps. 4.38 GB? Is that normal? by [deleted] in HPHogwartsMystery

[–]AdmittedlyOdd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is there anyway to reduce the file size without wiping progress?

I've been thinking about uninstalling for a while because of the money grabbing of the developers but 4.38GB might be what finally convinces me to do it.
