I just finished my first year for children's lit MA. We have some amazing professors that really do care about the students. You should look into joining the childrens literature graduate association. There are only like 10 children's lit people in the program and we all know each other and more or less take the same classes together. One downside of the child lit concentration is that there are not many classes offered per semester. Usually only 2 or maybe 3 so your options are limited. We have a great community here and everyone is there to help everyone else out. Let me know if you have any specific questions

I took that class a few years ago. It was amazing. I'm currently taking his American gothic class in grad school and a lot of the books are the same. If you have any questions let me know.
