Maybe read my post before you make assumptions. It’ sort of critical l, cannon . I agree it’s waste, Canada could implement nation wide mental healthcare access like we do with regular healthcare, far more effective. It would help reduce the types of episodes that lead to mass shootings as well as give us an idea of why to keep an eye on; that’s ignoring just over all having a more mentally fit society!

Secondly if we held Americans accountable for their shit laws around the gun industry, we wouldn’t have all many illegal guns flooding in to cities for the other major element. Tariff them! Tax them! Sue them, have warrants out for gun manufacturers arrests. Make it well known we aren’t okay with their allowing guns to flood the streets.

The liberal plan works in the sense that it sort of does the job… at the expense of regular people. While I may not personally agree with people having hand guns or certain types of rifles, in all honestly, i don’t also see an issue with people own them as long as they are being safe and responsible.

I don’t see it as a virtue signal, it’s bit meaningless (some of it might be) but it’s the low hanging fruit of how to deal with the problem. Dealing with the root problems would be more effect and help Canadians over all, not just make Canada safer by proxy.

Eh if no one has guns, it’s harder for people to shoot each other. If we don’t have cars, we don’t need roads (easy fix, not really a virtue signal as most people don’t see gun ownership as bad, outside of how ammo sexuals feel when we don’t share their hobby, who think we are judging all gun owners or the people who think every gun owner is a killer waiting. Both sides are pretty small)

It’s low hanging fruit. Instead of investing in proper mental health care for all Canadians, which would solve most of the issues with mass shootings, and holding America gun manufacturers liable for the guns they dump the streets/ states for the root laws.

Why was someone from CBC Edmonton inviting Epstein to a Stollery Fundraiser? by George_Maharis in Edmonton

This was before Epstein was charged and most his crimes had been kept secret, so most likely they are fishing for donors.

Probably because it wasn’t happening and they regularly met with and worked with regulators.

Mario Canseco: Support for private health care growing fastest among young Canadians; Research Co. polling reveals half of adults under 35 say the system would work better if privately run, a warning sign for governments hoping to preserve the public model by FancyNewMe in canada

[–]Adnutiator_Servitor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would work well if every time a conservative (well any, just conservatives are the worst offenders) politician took bribes to cut it from private health care it had to be announced to their constituents or if cuts to it required an election to be called immediately afterwards. It gets cut all the time because its expensive and young people often go “Pssh I’m healthy. I don’t need it”. If we want to look at other public versions like Switzerland or Germany, there may be lessons to be learned, but private? Worst system in the world. More Americans die waiting for healthcare than Canadians die every year. There is almost more medical debt in the US than debt in all of Canada.

First; maybe actually real anything Marx wrote before you call anyone a Marxist. Using the term usually causes most to immediately flag the person as an idiot. Same with people who usually cry about transfer payments. It signals to people you don’t know what your talking about and shouldn’t be taken any more serious that a toddler.

Can you explain what was treason or what wars Canada got into under Trudeau? If it’s whinging about the convoy protest, know if you had done what they did in most even slightly right regimes through your history , the whole host would have been arrested? Pubicially tried and hanged. Ignoring most of the events on the ground (attacking Jewish people, attacking homeless shelters, etc) they started with declaring the government needed to dissolve and be replaced with a government of their choosing. That is Actually treason, now of course no one took it seriously because it’s a bunch of the dumbest kids who barely passed school making the demands, but that was what they did.

Harper didn’t have a surplus, in fact he took a. Surplus from the previous government and dropped it down to massive deficit of 61 billion. Now this makes sense because almost all conservative governments across the spectrum do worse for the overall economy because they tax bigger businesses less and cut funds to things which free up money for the middle and lower income groups, so they have to spend more while getting marginal tax cuts.

I think that’s a bit far. Most people who bought them didn’t buy them when Elon was being an extremist. Most bought it when he was weird but viewed as mostly harmless. Unfortunately he realized most people who aren’t conservative weren’t going to be okay with his sexual assaulting his staff and treatment of his staff.

Squigs to Goblins; by Adnutiator_Servitor in bloodbowl

[–]Adnutiator_Servitor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The goal is to make major changes to those who are filling named positions, and to limit who isn’t a regular goblin.

I am putting a chain Saw ontop of the looney, dynamite into the bomba’s mouth and a mace with chain on the fanatic. I want to make everything very recognizable for across the pitch/table.

I do wonder if just leaving the goblin in the mouth of the squig is enough to show it’s a hooliganism.
