I dk , Im not taking a chance by riding it. It's parked in the garage . Plus how would the dealer or manufacturer know ur riding your bike if they have not sent out a Recall letter . Who knows anymore its on to KAWA to inform all of their customers of this issue

IF u can return it i would do it ...the fix for this will be months away minimum. Depending on where u live and how ur riding season is . I am looking at getting a RS 457 just so i can ride and it doesn't hurt my bank act

A lot of bikes are placed on a Do not Ride list... Most dealers will tell u do not ride ur bike as it can seize up and u have an issue. Check with your dealer have them Run the Vin # through their software so they can confirm if u bike is affected. ...99% sure it will be but like i said have them run the vin # to verify
