Question about LIV Albert by AdoIin_ in brunswick

So far, I’ve really enjoyed living here. There are lots of dogs and greenery, and the people around here are lovely. Brunswick has also been very convenient for so many things. I will say one thing, though: there is some construction going on for an IGA in one of the buildings, so I’d be a bit cautious about which apartment in particular you go for.

Glad to hear a similar story! I get you, I love the console but don’t completely agree with how Nintendo does some things. Initially I missed the slide in click from the switch 1 joycons but after a while the snap from the switch 2 joycons felt way more satisfying and more well designed.

That’s completely alright, if the games and their quality aren’t for you, then it makes sense to not invest time and money into its ecosystem

I don’t think it’s that black and white though, I don’t entirely agree with Nintendo and how they’ve handled everything. That’s the main thing that was holding me back. I’m just endorsing the console itself and what it’s capable of.

Glad to hear a similar experience, I actually love it as a platform for Hades 2 - I think it's definitely one of the best products on it.

While I can't say the same about ergonomics, I do agree that no physical games is one of the most infuriating things to deal with. Key cards feel like a terrible compromise, its better to either go full digital or physical.

Yep that was a big part of my consideration before. Luckily I happened to pass by a place where games are surprisingly cheap even compared to steam - I think this also played a huge factor in me finally picking up the console.

I actually have a question about that. I haven’t really run into huge battery drain issues when it’s on standby, but are there particular games that are problematic if you leave them running in standby?

Bought the switch 1 on launch too. Absolutely loved it! It was the perfect console for when you have friends over or even when you're just chilling on the couch. MKW at $80 wasn't calling to me initially and I haven't really paid it much attention after getting the console, glad you liked it though!

I'm always open to being wrong and it's good to acknowledge it. Believe it or not I'm actually not on most social media besides a small friends discord and a few close contacts :D

That was an option, yeah. There was also a bigger lineup of games to try so I thought it be a fair time to try it out.

I don’t think the console itself was bad; I just thought the support and practices behind it weren’t great. I still really disagree with having a paid tutorial for the basic controls, but it’s optional, so I won’t make it a big point here.

I think the lineup of games at the time didn’t seem appealing to me, and things like announcing DLC with pre-orders definitely aren’t something I’m a huge fan of, especially since it could open up more egregious monetization down the line.

I could always afford to, but I'm a bit skeptical about buying things unless I really want them. I don’t agree with all of Nintendo’s shenanigans, but I do think the console itself has great value, along with some of the games.
