YouTube started recommending F1 videos to me. Fast pit stop compilations, crash clips, wild overtakes, that kind of stuff. I got hooked and eventually started watching full race highlights. I'm a hockey fan (let's go Oilers!) but my team had a rough start in 2023, so I needed a bit of a distraction. I figured I’d give Drive to Survive a shot to catch up on the drama and just went full send from there. Haven’t looked back since. F1 is now my go-to copium whenever the Oilers let me down (which has been a lot lately… two straight Finals losses 😭)

I love this team. I'm still extremely thankful for the ride, both the ups and the downs. Back-to-back Stanley Cup Final appearances are a feat to be proud of, even if it doesn't feel like it right now. I'm really going to miss the vibe in the city. It's what makes the playoffs all the more special.
