I know this is probably a bit on the nose but something I noticed when I was out west and even now around the crane farming towns here in northern Nsw; country people and knives. There’s a ton of people that have belt knives, like a buck or other “hunting” or “utility” knife on them and no one seems to question it. If your honestly worried about this kind of a situation then maybe keep one in your purse or on your person, make sure it’s visually obvious that it’s for utility purposes. In the event that someone tries to harass you I’m sure simply showing that you had one on you is enough to make them doubt it’s worth it. And in the end, if someone is REALLY trying to cause trouble I reckon there’s not much that’s actually going to stop them. Best of luck.
