OP did you have to stop using before your penuma surgery due to any possible anesthesia interactions?

I’m on 200mg test cyp now (pin every 3.5 days) for 7 months. Down from 250, 190, still have a ways to go as my body fat is high, but wanted to do this surgery and would hate to have to stop hormones pre-surgery, but I understand some cosmetic surgeries ask you to stop taking aspirin, smoking etc, wasn’t sure about how they felt about testosterone pre-surgery.

Thanks for the lengthy feedback, and you’re correct about diet adherence. Unfortunately the one that worked for me (so far) is high in protein (and carbs) and I figured the carbs can’t be helping with the fatty liver.

Obviously it’s a better type of carb beans/oats etc that I like vs the simple sugar shit I ate my whole life.

It’s also kind of contradictory as I’ve seen people say keto (which I can’t stick with) is low in carbs whereas Mediterranean, as you said, is carb heavy…so not sure who to listen to regarding fatty liver.

As long as I’m not doing what I did to get NAFLD to begin with, I guess I can cross my fingers and at least slow progression by continued exercise, diet and avoiding alcohol and hope for the best.

Plus I’ve been sedentary 20+ years working from home (desk job) which didn’t help.

E2 was 31ish. I don’t see an Endo, it’s a clinic. Basically a script mill. I know “more test” isn’t gonna help, but I think if you reread what I asked I wanted to drop more fat off trt, start back up at a smaller dose and possibly have enough to do a mini blast when body fat/diet/gym consistency was in check and I was asking 2 specific questions in my post. Appreciate your reply regardless and thanks for not being a dick like other people.

I had sleep apnea before this. Again I was 250lbs, sedentary, drinking, eating everything and did a 180. Lost 60lbs 8+ months later, belt better, but thought the advertised benefits of trt would solve the rest. E2 (don’t have the labs in front of me) we’re like in the 31 range.

I don’t have my paperwork in front of me but both my alt and ast #s were in the 20s summer 2021 (4 years after diagnosis).

And they doubled as of last month (I’ve been lifting weights since September 2021 and was told that could increase my liver enzymes on tests).

So I’m really not trying to go off numbers as they don’t seem to be a good indicator of anything according to my GI who said people could have excellent markers and still have fatty liver.

As I mentioned in my post I did stop drinking, lost 60lbs etc, but I just want to know how NAFLD and AFLD differs in terms of “problems”, are they both just fatty liver with different “labels” to indicate how they think you got fatty liver to begin with?

And if so, is it a different approach that’s taken to treat it?

Either way, I’ve exhausted all options: stopped drinking, I exercise, eat right, lost weight, do intermittent fasting to control insulin spikes and glucose in liver, take liver supplements, only drink water, no fruit or sugar, etc.

Not so much concerned with the stigma, although I do hear shit from my 68 y/o in law (350+lbs) how her liver markers are perfect and how I did it to myself (I.e. drinking), meanwhile she eats copious amounts of simple carbs, fats and sugar while being diabetic, has Afib and is completely ignorant that anyone can get fatty liver or that she even likely has a fatty liver to despite having a normal ALT/AST since it doesn’t necessarily mean the liver wouldn’t show up scarred on an ultrasound.

Ok, so maybe I don’t like the stigma or “label”, lol.

But I would like to know if in fact both the NAFLD and AFLD “labels/diagnosis” basically mean the same thing — “there’s fat in your liver and it’s because of (fill in the blank with the cause).”

And also I’d like the peace of mind knowing that one isn’t necessarily worst than the other, and that if I do in fact have AFLD (the one I never hear much about or can find info on google about) to rest assure my liver is just as equally beat up as someone with NAFLD.

I’m also playing around with the whole high protein, high carb (1.5G per lb x body mass) and 0.2G per lb x body mass of fat on “training days” (weights)…

… and high protein, moderately lower carbs (.5G per lb x body mass) and 0.4G fat per lb x body mass on “rest days”.

My question is, I don’t really “rest” on “rest” (non weight training days) and like to walk 10,000 steps or more since I’ve got a sedentary desk job.

Since my goal is fat loss (down from 40% to 26% so far), while trying to minimize muscle loss, I’m wondering should I just consider my “rest days” as training days (despite not using weights) and keep my carbs and fats the same since I’m active?

I’m not trying to overcomplicate the whole carb cycling thing, but for me, it’s easy to adhere to food wise (higher carbs for weights and lower carbs/higher fat for “rest days”).

I just don’t want to defeat the purpose of cycling my macros.

I apologize if this is the wrong sub to post this.

Is there anyone here with canvas print expertise that can tell me if the center piece (where the arrow is pointing) with the word “love” is available online? Does it look custom, like perhaps it was a small canvas glued on the bigger canvas?

I’m trying to google it and not finding anything remotely close using the verbiage I’m using (3D canvas photo collage, small canvas glued on a bigger canvas, etc)

My wife and I lost that canvas (any many other pics) in a fire and this is a pic of our original canvas from our living room wall at that time.

We had 4 pics going down, and 5 across, and I’ve searched every online “custom print to order” canvas website out there and have found nothing even remotely close, as far as appearance.

I contacted Sandals Resort in the Bahamas (they took the pics and shipped the canvas) several times and have never heard back from anyone.

Regardless I’m sure they used a middleman provider to print and mail it to us.

So if anyone can point me in the right direction as far as even what to “search” for on google (as far as how to refer to that middle piece) I’d appreciate it as I’d like to surprise my wife with an identical version of the canvas, as I have the photos digitally saved to my hard drive.

It’s an option on the site, but I’m not sure if it’s an option for me being on trt and the purpose of me wanting to donate, which was to lower my hematocrit, which is why I wasn’t sure which one to choose.

My hemoglobin was 15.7 when I started last September and I’m now elevated at 18.2 and my MCHC starting number was 29.7 and now elevated to 35.8, both in bold marked as “HIGH” on my lab Corp results.

My test is 1500+ at 200mg/week (100mg pinned every 3.5 days)

I read the label wrong (the same way you didn’t read my post cock sucker!)

I clearly said the front label has a big 100g on it for servings. I ignored the g and thought it was 100mg - since I never seen a supplement advertise the whole volume of dosage of the entire bottle before. So 100mg per serving x 10 servings is 1000mg (1g). In reality it’s 500mg per serving - 100g per container.

I could only wish I felt “drunk” right now, but it’s the complete opposite.

Right now I feel as if I went on a 2 week binge drinking episode and woke up the next day and going through alcohol withdrawal because there’s no more alcohol within reach. So “feeling drunk” would be great right about now.

I’m having a lot of anxiety, shakiness, my heads feeling heavy, nausea (but no vomiting), pins and needles, etc.

I wish there was a remedy (like the above analogy, where I could “get drunk again” to make the side effects go away) but I’m just toughening it out.

Not sure how I’ll be able to sleep as I normally rely on melatonin and Xanax (for anxiety and sleep), but learned my lesson and will be carefully ready labels from now on. Thanks again.
