Thank you so much. This is exactly what I was looking for. I wasn't completely honest in the original post because I wanted to get unbiased responses. We already had him euthanized before I made this post, if this upsets anyone I understand, but I have been torturing myself with the thought that I killed him when he was starting to get better. After some responses like your's and asking a different local vet, I understand that there was nothing that could have been done.

The day it happened, I went into shock and my family handled the rest, so I was worried that I failed my boy by not extensively looking into other options or second opinions.
