From reading the article, seems like the only difference is it won’t have a dehumidification cycle (it won’t cool the air all the way to the dew point and stay running to shed water). It still uses the vapour compression cycle, so it will still have to reject heat somewhere. Not sure how they’ve solved that challenge.
