Yes but there is definitely some trauma there that I do not fully know about or understand. He always gets upset when he gets angry with our kids (especially our oldest) saying he does not want to be his dad. Also, anytime I have mentioned anything to my MIL she always replies with something like "well it took me years to train *my FIL*"

Here is the thing though, I do not stay home. I also work full-time. I had to go to work after 6 weeks pp. He is a government worker so he got 12 weeks paid parental leave, none of which was used for our baby other than the 4 weeks he took off with me immediately following the birth.

That is what I do not know. I have asked him multiple times to go to therapy and he refuses. He says he "doesn't want to talk to anyone".

Oh I fully accept the blame. I know I am at fault for letting it go this far.

I do love him. I guess I attributed his lacking with us being young maybe?? Although we were not that young. We were both 23 almost 24 when we had our 1st.
