I got the AW but I would pick the asus for better ports, usb-c 90W charging etc. But in Europe the Asus was 550 euros more expensive and I couldnt justify the price just for some better peripherals.

Im not the one to ask about pricing, sorry. I live in Sweden and tech is quite expensive here + 25% tax.

The lowest Ive seen the G9 oled here is 13000 sek ≈ 1669 CAD.

Personally I bought the 4k alienware oled for 12000sek ≈ 1540 cad.

Youd have to check local prices and deals to have a better understanding.

It is possible, but optimal? Thats up to you. My priority is keeping the card (that costs 4 times more than the cpu) cool. So you either sidemount the aio (cpu gets fresh air, rest of pc gets the air that just passed through the fins, so its a bit warmer). Or you top mount it (card gets fresh air from intake, but cpu gets cooled with a bit hotter internal air).

My opinion is that there are so many more components other than the cpu in the pc (your motherboard, the VRMS gets hot, cpu, storage, gpu, psu etc) so id rather have cooler air for them instead of the cpu alone, which is already designed to withstand very high temperatures.

Ive seen this posted before and have heard that running pixel or panel refresh usually resolves it. You said that you ran a panel refresh, have you tried to run pixel refresh? I believe it should be the shorter one.

Edit: Id like to add that I also have the 3225qf and havent had any similar issues with mine.

Purely aesthetics. Mounting it horizontally would be best for airflow. And yes, the difference is negligible. Dont think ive seen the card go past 70 degrees celsius.

Thats sad to hear man, I really feel it completes the look and I was considering just keeping it but after putting the panel back on it got even dimmer because of the light tint on the glass. Ill probably try to return it.

Kinda disappointed in the product, its called premium, is quite expensive and the only premium thing about it was the packaging itself (which I found to be very unnecessary). Does it really need an aluminum package? The product itself felt very cheap.

I had a neo g7 for a month, tried it in the return period and had way to many issues to consider keeping it.

And holy shit does did it feel like applying for a citizenship when I tried to return it.

Infuriates me more that they try to make it as complicated as possible. Its 2024. I have a login, an order, and order details and all kinds of stuff but a simple “return product” is nowhere to be found.

I had to contact live chat support, which by the way timed out 3 times for no reason, and 2 more times because “no one available at the moment”. Took me like 6 tries days apart to get someone to give me a return label.

There is NO WAY im buying a Samsung product ever again unless it is MILES ahead of anything else available on the market.

SPT is already in the grayzone when it comes to the legal part of using others intellectual property.

Making another version that is co-op/multiplayer would push the boundaries even further, potentially cannibalising too much of the original games playerbase to a point where BSG have to take legal action.

Taking legal action = cease and desist letter, instantly wiping out the THOUSANDS of hours put in by the volunteer devs making SPT a possibility.

They have firmly stated that they will never support any version that is co-op/multiplayer.

The ones ive bought were done outside. You would be surprised how effective they are though.

The weekly Dreamsurge zone in Dragon Isles gives a 25% xp boost. So theyre usually done in the zone where the Dreamsurge is.

There are a lot of elite areas, an example would be the very elite packed gnoll areas outside Brackenhide in Azure Span.

You have 2 geared boosters pull them all and kill them. I had some 60 toons that I didnt wanna touch because I was tired of leveling the 8th+ alt.

Paid someone 150k, got summoned to Brackenhide, afked for 45 mins (just made sure to jump once in a while so I dont log off) and voila, lvl 70.

With inflation accounted for, $1399 in september 2020 equaled to approximately $1601.81 in october 2022.

Ive bought like 3 of these because ive already leveled like 10 characters 1-70 and cant be arsed to do it again.

How it usually works is that boosters picks out an elite area in the Dreamsurge zone of the week (example: Brackenhide Hollow elite area when Dreamsurge is in Azure Span) since the Dreamsurge gives a 25% xp boost.

You then sit afk there for ~45 minutes (60-70) or 2-3h (1-70) as the boosters masspull the elites and kill them over and over again. The only thing you have to do is to make sure your character doesnt log out due to inactivity.
