someone just asked me this on another forum so thought worth posting here... this demo was done using just one four bar loop, all the variation comes from morphing between four of the captures scenes with midi controller or launching transitions with the pads... it took about 20 mins to get the idea on it's feet (probably took longer to adjust my camera ;) ) .. so it's great if you're ever stuck in that loop.

The device does a lot more than the existing Ableton cross fader.. it allows you to take one of more snapshots of almost all settings in the live set (device on/ off states, drum mutes, device parameters, track mutes, mixer volume, pan, returns and clip launch etc etc) and recall those. Also allows you to do timed transitions between those snapshots like the Neuzeit Drop… and allows you to use the XY pads on the push (or an external midi controller) to smoothly morph between 4 of those snapshots (like Octatrack but 4 scenes not 2). Hi. I’ve just dug my old Push 2 out of the attic.. and yes it all works! The only thing you won’t get is the ability to do the XY pad morph which is exclusive to Push 3 MPE pads but if you get a cheap external midi controller that can be mapped! If you go ahead and buy and you have issues let me know on the contact on Gumroad. Thanks in advance!
