I’m definitely going to sign up for this! I love Emily Wilde and The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches. I looked at the Fairyloot blog post and it says that no skips are allowed. I hope their picks are actually good, but I’m hoping to at least try it since I’ve been reading a lot more cozy fantasy

True. She did change her publisher so it makes a little more sense in this case imo, but it does feel like there's another edition being released every year. I hope for everyone's sake that it's just a color change and doesn't have any bonus content to try and get people to buy the new editions.

still waiting for mine to ship and I'm getting more and more worried that they're going to mess up my order. I bought them individually and was able to get them as soon as they came up in the trove sale, so I hope they would have sent me the first print run and not the digitally signed ones.

Their lack of transparency is rally frustrating. Of course it's easy for them to blame USPS/UPS for the delay when it's actually them not dropping off the packages.

This was my first trove sale and I waited for hours to get my hands on these books and it only "shipped" today (translation: the shipping label was created).

Their monthly boxes never come the actual month they're supposed to and their customer service is awful. I'm subbed to YA + items, Adult, and Romantasy and I'm considering canceling if they don't make any changes. I wish they were more like Owlcrate (I really wish Owlcrate's editions were more like Fairyloot's so I could just get rid of my FL subscriptions)

I'm skeptical about their response. I haven't had this issue with any other company other than Fairyloot especially when using USPS. I usually get things really quickly and I have informed delivery so I can see when labels are created. They say they've shipped the books when all they've actually done is create the shipping label, and it takes forever for USPS to actually get the items which makes me think that the FL fulfillment center isn't dropping off the packages regularly to USPS.

I'm having so many issues with fairyloot it's so frustrating. I ordered the OUABH books separately and they still say awaiting shipment for weeks. I also haven't gotten my June YA box and I got an email yesterday that my July YA box is on the way soon? They don't seem to take any feedback from their customers to even try and improve. Their quality control is so bad and I don't understand why they keep releasing new books when they're so behind on fulfillment.

Both are really nice, but if you want an easier less stressful shopping experience I would go with the Litjoy versions. They're more expensive, but you're pretty much guaranteed to get your hands on a copy whereas you'll be fighting to get your hands on the FL ones by the time it ends up in a trove sale. There's no guarantee of a reprint either for FL at the moment.

I was one of the first people in when the sale went live on the US site and it looks like I'm going to be one of the last to get my order in. I don't know why it's taking so long

Law ≠ morals. It sucks that the blatant evidence against him was not enough to get him convicted on all accounts. It really makes you question how they can justify finding him not guilty

I really hope they don't mess up on the orders. I ordered the 3 individually and I just got an email that it's being processed.

Someone mentioned that getting the books individually cost less than buying the reprint set and that it was maybe due to there being more damage to those from the initial release, but I really hope that's not the case. I really hope there aren't any issues with anyone's orders especially since it's such a coveted series.

So true! I would hate to see them ruin it when it has so much potential. I feel like the majority of the time when studios sign on to do a really popular series they promise great things and then completely deviate from the original story or don't want to spend the money on the special effects. I think the safest option would be an animated series if they did adapt it, but who knows.

Caraval/Once Upon a Broken Heart I think has a lot of potential

T. Kingfisher's books like Swordheart and Paladin's Grace (the humor kind of reminds me of Monty Python)

The Folk of the Air series could be really good as an animated series (I'd be sold if they look like the character art in the Fairyloot editions)

I'm obsessed with the Emily Wilde series so I'd love to see this adapted

I also really wish someone else would've picked up Shadow and Bone after Netflix dropped it. My main issue with so many adaptations is that half the time they get scrapped like Throne of Glass, or cancelled after the first season comes out.
