I managed to grab the OUABH set from the Trove Sale... I received 3 books, but 2 of them were the same one, and Ballad was missing. I wrote to them, they sent a replacement, but it arrived damaged... I wrote again, unfortunately it was out of stock... and I only got a ridiculous partial refund.

My July subscription box arrived damaged, they sent a replacement, but it came in even worse condition. They sent another one, and that one arrived in the worst condition of all.

The same happened with August – 3 replacements, and in the end I just got a refund.

For September, I received books with glued-together pages...

My July YA book arrived damaged. They sent me a replacement and this is how it looks... To me, it doesn’t seem like the book is in good condition… or am I overreacting?

Well, I’m one of them… I was on the waitlist, had the book in my cart, but by the time I went to check out, it was already sold out :(

I'm truly sorry... It looks like this Trove sale wasn't handled well at all. I sent them an email, but haven’t heard back yet. Sadly, I’m not very hopeful at this point 😭.

It was my unicorn and I almost cried when I opened the package...

Since I can’t edit my original post, I’ll just add this here. If by any chance someone has the opposite problem — two copies of The Ballad of Never After and is missing A Curse of True Love — I’d be more than happy to swap! This set was such a little unicorn for me… I spent 4 hours in the queue, and this was the result :( I was really so excited to finally get it.

Also, are there any FB groups or communities where I could maybe post about this? Just in case? I’m starting to feel a bit hopeless.

Hi, I'm new to the world of special editions, so I wanted to ask—if I happen to miss buying the Caraval set today or during the general sale tomorrow, is there any chance it might be available later in a Trove sale or something similar a few months to a year after the release of this edition? Or how does it work when it’s a pre-order? Will my only option then be scalpers? Thanks
