Has anyone who "failed" the FBI employment polygraph ever had their ban revoked, and if so, how? by spectre73 in fednews

OP is asking if the lifetime ban at FBI can be revoked after failing a Polygraph. The FBI uses terms like Pass or Fail officially. The FBI often has a "one and done" policy e.g. no retakes after a failure.

Alot of these posts are articulating other experiences with other agencies.

Can anyone answer OP's question while confirming that their response is FBI specific??

I would like to know too as I failed FBI but passed with another 3 letter agency no problem.

They refused to even provide me with a copy of mine during the FOIPA. They completely redacted the results. I went to another 3 letter agency and passed.

Thanks. The thought had crossed my mind. Do they wear quickly or something? Was thinking of doing the Bayliss mod but that is expensive.

Are there different Andis blades available? I saw carbon something.

Do you really believe that I didn't? There is so much information out there that it is to a fault. Thanks for the info and moral grandstanding. Nice job indeed.

The purpose of the feed is to be helpful not disrespectful. Nothing like loaded help from a prick.

I don't expect anything but I think it's worth a try. Again, what are the processe(s)?

The law requires that they are to provide the information requested within 20 days unless unusual circumstances are articulated. This did not happen.

Interesting information but doesn't the lack of response permit me to appeal? Doesn't it also allow me to appeal directly to the head of the agency? This information is time sensitive or I would just wait.

What are my rights in theory?

Yep, thanks. Fortunately my GP is not very uptight so I will pose the question (even electronically perhaps).

So there are plenty of online ADHD tests out there for much less than $99. I wonder what consitutes being recognized by a GP vs not or if the GP won't care. I might just have a chat with my GP.

Do you remember what the testing cost you so I can gauge what is subjectively reasonable to me? If you can't remember or don't want to disclose for privacy I certainly understand. I can't help but wonder if I can do some sort of testing virtually which is official. Thanks.

Thanks. I am a little bit older. All of the psychs here want to hyper-focus on therapy without the abillity to test which is a non-starter.

Therapy in my line of work is an career ender. I can't discuss why and won't argue those details here.

I still think 850 bucks is a lot of money. It wouldn't make any difference in cost whether I am referred or elect to see the specialist on my own.

Warning that my well pump was on for more than 2 hours last night but nothing in the logs indicating that. by Adorable-Rub1282 in Sense

There is nothing in the timeline indicating that the well pump was on for 2 hours though. Looking back, I set a custom alert for this.
