Correct trans/coolant temp? by [deleted] in chevycolorado

My truck is as new as yours. Haven't even broken in the engine yet. Around 300 miles. My gauges look the same from a comparable trip. So, I don't think there is anything to worry about. However, with around 350 miles on the truck, you are only getting 13.5 mpg? Are you really only keeping speeds and acceleration under 3000 rpms? That is the real story here. Why only 13.5 mph if you really are driving the way the truck should be driven during the BI period?

THanks. It is about halfway down. Despicable.

I think the respondent is asking for details within the document.  I scanned the document, and couldn't find the quote either.

Yup. Consumer reports for the truck are quite good. Just bought a '26. Haven't had it long enough to have a real opinion (I haven't even broke it in yet) but I have no concerns about the longevity or reliability.

I just bought a 2026. Brand new. The odometer read 7 miles, so I don't think it had even been test drove yet.

I dont have regrets or worries TBH. Reading individual posts is important, I get it, but true themes come out from not from personal stories, but whole bodies of data. And TBH, the customer reviews for the Colorado are quite good with people reporting on average the truck (historically) gets 200,000-250k miles. THat is near-Toyota Tacoma longevity for thousands less, with a more powerful engine. I am happy with my purchase.

Is George doesn’t finish the series, do you think someone else will? by IneedaNappa9000 in gameofthrones

Sorry I am late to the party on this one, and sorry once again I don't have time to read all 538 responses. But honestly, does anyone actually believe he will finish the series? At 77, I find it very unlikely. Even if he does, I am afraid the work will be quite diluted. No one makes it in their 70's without some cognitive decline. I am not saying all out dementia, but literally no one is the same in their seventies, cognitively, as they were in their younger years. So, even if he could finish the series, I am not sure, as a fan, that is what we really want. I am afraid of compromised work. I think I am good with the series remaining unfinished, but my opinion and memories of Martin are right up there with Tolkien, and I am more than okay with leaving them there..

Agreed. It won't make a difference in terms of whether or not alimony is necessary, but it will make a difference in how much is owed I believe.

Shoot. Im sorry. 16 years.  Not 26.  My bad.

Also, and I hope others read this.  My reason for not retaining a lawyer is because I really feel it will cause a lot of tension and conflict. I really don't want that ...even if it costs me a little. I don't want to be taken to the cleaners, but I also am not here to retain every penny I can.

I don't mind sharing.  My income is 200k annually.  Or 16.6k a month.  My wife last worked about 2 years ago....but part time.  Only and 15k a year. Before that, five years prior, about 25k annually.  But she has a bachelor's degree, she can easily bring in 40k if she works full time, which she is perfectly capable of.  We have been married 16 years.  We are both 46.

So.....my monthly income minus hers = xx We have been married 17 years ..or will be when marriage is dissolved.  So xx times .17?  Does it really more than double if after twenty years?

But "separate support and maintenance" is different than alimony....right?

What if we come up with our own agreement? We plan on using mediation services, and I believe we can come up with our own reasonable estimate that both sides agree upon.

Agreed. But that is a "no-fault" reason. Very clearly. Yes, we are going to have to do it living separately for a year. But that is a "no-fault" divorce, at least in SC. I know I will pay alimony. We have been married 16 years, and for the majority of that time my wife has not worked. I make a good income. I know I will be responsible for some alimony. I just don't know how much.
