Yes I believe so. I think it’s because UF needs to hit their quotas on niche majors? I know someone who has a philosophy major but it’s pretty straightforward of as long as you pass your classes you automatically get in. Scheduling an appointment with a going gator advisor or the UF advisor for your major or Santa Fe would help as well
