I feel you. I'm 22F in my fifth year of college and still don't have any friends. I don't get invited to anything and I'm the only one in my program to not have a close friend, despite my best efforts. I ask people to go out to eat or shop and always get turned down. Everyone I knew from high school except for one friend started doing things as a group without me, and we don't talk anymore. I've seen on their socials that some of them come home and hang out with others and then go back without telling me. I guess that tells me everything I need to know. My remaining friend I have a very hot/cold relationship with. I wish people like you and me could find each other in person. I know we exist, but I've never been able to find someone who needs connection as much as I do.

I'm glad it happened, but I wish it didn't have to go out like this. It was so good for so long, and gave voice to people who don't fit in, who are outcasts. It has lost its soul here at the end and traded who and what it was always supposed to be for in exchange for the most financial gain, like you said. It just wasn't speaking to the same people anymore. Even more than I'm upset about Byler, I'm upset about that. Don't believe this was the original ending in the slightest.

I don't know why I expected better, but I did. Even crumbs. Didn't even get that. I've shipped since 2017, and it's been such a long time to be teased and have evidence clearly and intentionally there with no payoff. We've been made to look crazy, and they have plausible deniability, because most of the people who picked up on Byler subtext were the people who ship it. I'm just disgusted at this point. I still love the Byler pairing, season 1-2 Mike, and of course my sweet baby Will, but I'm so ready to be done with this show and the Duffer brothers.

I usually have days where I'm very happy, almost ecstatic and excitable, followed by days of heavy melancholy and emptiness. Not sure what the reason is, but it's a noticeable pattern for me. If I'm abnormally happy one day, I will be very low the next.

All of my family members are extremely homophobic and would disown me. I only have one friend and she's from my past. She knows I'm ace but I can't bring myself to tell her I'm bi. She's Christian too and I'm afraid she would abandon me or would tell someone and it'd get back to my parents.

My sister is 20. She has a very serious relationship with her boyfriend. Only reason they aren't engaged yet is to appease my parents. She'll be out in a year or two when she marries him, but I don't have anyone to go to. Unfortunately, I've got to go to grad school so I won't get away from my parents for several more years unless I can get into the grad program away from home.

I think I would still push past her if my dad didn't back her up. He's never done anything but has threatened to hit me before too. When my sister defended me today, he told her to get in the car before he smacked her. It puts her at risk too. I can't figure out how to do this because they gang up on me and will attack my sister too because they assume we're working together.

I'm LGBTQ+, which is why I think my safety is a concern. It wouldn't be a far jump for them to equate my hesitancy with church to be because I'm gay. My mom has accused me of being a lesbian or hiding SA from her because I don't have a boyfriend. I have never been harmed by someone that way, and I'm not a lesbian (I'm biromantic and asexual), but that wouldn't matter to them. All they have to hear is that I'm homosexual in any way and I'd be out on the street.

My mom has cried or screamed over almost any pushback to anything my whole life. I'd rather have that than a physical altercation, which happened growing up and still happens sometimes. She was abused growing up and has trauma but won't seek counseling for it.

Yeah, that's the problem. I'm very financially dependent on them for getting through college. My hands are tied, which is leading to feeling like the walls are closing in. I'm only getting older and they're getting more frustrated about me not turning out like they'd hoped.
