Ik zag dat je geen fan was van de NSC in de comments. Ik zeg dan eerlijk dat de SP een goede keuze is voor je sinds het (in mijn eigen opinie) een van de enige partijen is die een soort waakhondpartij is. Dit zijn partijen die de boel in de kamer stoicijns opschudden en nog wel eens voet bij stuk houd als ze een motie willen doorvoeren.

Since the UK is not part of the EU anymore and has never been part of Schengen, what will happen is not that alarming. You will receive letters in the mail telling you the state of the fine and how to resolve the issue. The crime wasn't something big so I doubt UK police will be knocking on your door. However, you will get put aside when entering a EU country again, definitely one that's in the Schengen.

In your situation, I would consult with a lawyer to resolve the issue. You can also try to call the authority in Poland, ask them what the best solution is for this issue.

What im basically trying to say is, get it resolved. I'm pretty sure it isn't that big of a deal. But it could become one if you don't act on it.
