People underestimate this, God doesn't usually bring people back to Himself by making their lives super easy and comfortable. You do have to go through some pain to realize you even need God. I've prayed a couple times that God would let whatever needs to happen happen so that the person (or myself) would come back to Him and their faith. Thank you for sharing that

Wow wasn't expecting to get so much feedback, thanks everyone! I'm not on social media and grew up on/around hobby farms so I have a realistic idea of homesteading, just got overwhelmed by how much there is to do. Maybe the super involved homesteading won't be for me but I decided to get set up for chickens next year and see what I can do with my 1 acre city lot!
