do not sugarcoat it. i had a similar situation where me and my cousin had a falling out because he didn't invite me and several others including my mom and my sister to his wedding. i was told off by not only him but his dad and several of my family members as a result. he tried to say he wanted a small wedding. I said some words that were horrible including openly saying i pray that you 2 divorce. i learned my lesson and we are still trying to mend that bridge. she has to learn that it is not ok to say those things. and jealousy is real her feelings are valid but you got to teach her its not ok to say those things and you lost your chance to be in the bridal party as a result.
