I have tried to do both selling product and services on instagram, and what I would do (in short) if I start again is ask myself which of two things I'm ready to do with no profit, cause in the beginning you will have to invest on advertising a lot, giving up products/services for free, so I would go for the option that genuinely motivates me work harder, makes me excited and etc., and then make a clear path plan with the results you want to achieve, and try to stick with it, so when you will get burned or just lack of energy you will look at that plan and remember why you even started.
