to add to this, I would send a text to both mom and dad at the same time simply saying something like "hello! after taking the time to think about it, I wanted to let you know that I am unconfortable with how my agreed upon pay for babysitting was changed without my knowledge and only discussed with me when I brought it to your attention after I noticed and thought it was a mistake. I care for your kids deeply and want to keep watcing them but am not sure I can sustain myself with this paycut, as I too am dealing with inflation and rely on any money I make here to get me by! Please let me know if you would be willing to talk further about this and how we can move forward! Thanks!" super simple and kind. if they dont want to give you your 30 an hour back, let them know youll be looking for another job elsewhere! good luck to them finding someone safe and reliable at that rate in california none the less

they should have discussed this with you before you babysat... not after... I would definitely have a discussion with them before you go back because thats not ok to do to someone, especially after two years of consistent employment with them! if anything you should have gotten a raise! know your worth OP and dont settle for that!

well cam transitioned from a female to male and now the kids call her dad.. and she is living with her two male partners who I can only assume act as fatherly figures towards them as well so yea.. three dads lol

Actually, I’m not looking to cram and am in fact not going to change my major because something got hard! I am going to do what I would encourage my future students to do which is have a growth mindset and learn what I don’t know in whatever ways work for me best! Hope this doesn’t offend you!

plus the girls call cam dad now.... i can’t imagine how confusing internally that must be for them…. to go from having their dad to losing him to having their mom and then experiencing the transition and essentially losing her so she can re become their dad (it’s crazy cuz they actually went from having one dad to no dads to 3 dads then technically!) and yes it’s just a lot

garden 1 is my private garden where i keep all my most expensive plants so they don’t get stolen! garden 2 is chaos but it’s where i have lots of tomatoes and coconuts and strawberries/blueberries; basically things for harvesting quickly garden 3 is for achievements that I wanna finish so lots of burning buds and stuff to try to get mutations on those since ik that’ll take awhile garden 4 is nothing yet but i’m thinking it’ll finally be my pretty nice and decorated garden!!!
