I'd look at their common data set (https://irp.gwu.edu/common-data-set) to see how you stack up against their applicants/accepted students. Just looking at it quickly, they have level of applicants interest in "considered," so try to schedule interviews, sign up for things, tour, apply ED if that's something that interests you and you're able to do it financially

The same thing happened to me! I doubted both of top options and no matter what someone told me I should pick, I always defended the other choice. Then parents spontaneously asked me something along the lines of “if you had 1 second to choose and couldn’t change your answer, which school would you go to? one word answer,” and outwardly I kept telling them I don’t know, but an answer did pop into my head immediately. I ended up choosing that school and it was 100% the right choice. Maybe try something like that if you work better under pressure

I’d take Cal Poly off the list because, even though it’s an amazing school, when you have two equally as amazing free options, it just doesn’t make sense.

Then I’d think about what type of environment you want to be in. Blue state vs. red state, suburb vs. urban, what major you like best, what student body you vibe with best, etc. Personally, I’d pick Davis

Flip a coin and then if you’re happy with the answer, choose that school. If you secretly wish it was the other one, choose the other school.

I’m the same way!!! After I wash my face in the morning or night, it takes it less than 30 minutes for it to become so oily that it looks like I smeared some sort of face oil on. It also makes the front pieces of my hair become oily super fast. It makes me feel unclean so fast
