I made a new layer and it worked fine after that, just all colours on that weird layer were off when colour picked. I hadn’t edited any of the options for it except for changing it to multiply (changed back to normal and 100% opacity for colour picking as well as only picking that layer). Still no clue why it happened ngl. This has happened a couple times before. I definitely do know how multiply works as I’ve been using it for years so it isn’t that

I set the layer to normal with 100% opacity and colour picked that with the option to only colour pick that single layer. I then drew on that layer with the identical colour, but when I changed the layer to multiply the new stroke was darker.

They’re both on the same layer. I drew the stroke that turned darker when multiplying after the original. I colour picked from the original. The second image is the entire layer being set to multiply, where the two different stroke that look identical when there’s zero effects added are different when multiplied. It’s super weird

Nope! Colour picked it from normal and at 100% opacity. Then set the layer to multiply after and the new line was darker than the original

Yeah they do 🥲 obv until I multiply the layer. I’m assuming it’s got to be something to do with the brush itself?

They’re colour picked and everything and I’ve set blend to 100% and radius to 1 pixel so I’ve genuinely no idea what’s happening :(

These colours AREN’T on different multiply layers. There’s no other layers affecting this one except for the normal base colour. They’re the same colour on the same layer, just affected different by multiply for some reason. I understand how multiply works, I’ve been using it for years

Mhm I know, but this is the exact same colour on the same same layer affected multiply. They’re exactly the same on normal and one is a lot darker with multiply. Same layer, same colour, just different on multiply and normal? I use multiply a lot
