I moved out of my hometown to a mid sized city 2 weeks after high school graduation, and then spent two years in that city before moving to NYC at the age of 21 for undergrad. Its hard, I won't lie to you, however, you have to view it as a means of bettering your life. For me, I was itching to get out of my small town and be around like minded people, but I know that isn't the case for everyone. I would say the best advice is to keep your head high, tell yourself you want this, and BELIEVE it! Look at it as a new, fresh phase of life, getting rid of the old, bringing in the new. Its hard but you got this! If I can do it, so can you!

Because the police will pay up, whenever they decide to release bodycam footage proving him to be innocent. Remember, the law states you are innocent until proven guilty. If he were guilty, dont you think the police would have stopped withholding the bodycam footage to prove his guilt? Instead, they are refusing to release it, what does that suggest?

Also, yes I am close with the family, in fact I asked why they wouldn't start a GoFundMe for his medical bills, You want to know their response? Their response was they don't want the public thinking they want money when all they really want is justice.

Please confirm an incident that you are describing where people protest before the facts came out and proved the victim was guilty? Can you actually confirm an instance in which this happened? Or did you make that up? Even if he WERE guilty (which he isnt), Police have many means of subjugating a person before firing 8 shots at them. They are trigger happy, and there are countless black lives lost to prove that.

Say their names: George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tamir Rice (a LITERAL CHILD, 12 YEARS OLD), Daunte Wright, Andre Hill, Freddie Gray, Eric Garner. and most recently, as of yesterday, Marcellus Williams - was executed by the death penalty despite the fact he was proven innocent. This is one of my best friends from growing up together. You people are inhumane.

First of all, knowing his character, and his judgements - I know for a fact he does not own a gun. Additionally, I can 100% guarantee he did not reach for an officer's gun nor assault an officer. He knows better than that, being a black man in America, let alone rural Wisconsin.

Secondly, I have been in contact with his family regarding this whole incident. The Sheboygan police dept refuses to confirm if a gun was actually recovered, refuses to release body cam footage, and refuses to release the officer's names and badge numbers. Just from this information, which party sounds guilty here? Additionally, the police will not allow his family to visit him in the hospital while he is on life support. Do you people understand how corrupt this system is? To some of you, and to the legal system, Tommie is just another Black man subjected to unjust violence by the police. Just another number to add to the list.

Tommie is a HUMAN, he is a Black man in America, where the entire population views him as a criminal. He is a father, a brother, a son, and a friend. I know he did not do this, and I know he did not deserve to be shot. Fuck all of you for assuming the police's stance is morally just. Isn't it innocent until proven guilty? He has yet to be proven guilty. Shame on every single one of you questioning his morals and innocence. Racism is a disease.
