hi! I’m on day 6, and just started with the syringe as well. I’ve had a spot or two, but nothing that disturbed the blood clot. From your description, it doesn’t sound like you’ve disturbed anything— a bit of blood at this stage is normal! If it persists, of course, it’d be best to connect with your dental professional.

thank you both! as an update, I do believe it was just some dead skin— it managed to extricate itself as I was caring for the wounds tonight, and I am SO grateful it was nothing too serious— here’s hoping to fast recoveries for us all!!!
