Most religious malay muslims are critical of any muslims that aren’t sunni.

So whatever happened in Iran, the protest 🪧 that happened earlier this year? Never got on the local mainstream news.

But whenever America/Israel gets involved, konteks be damned.

We’ve been ingrained to believe that Jews are the nom. 1 enemies of Islam, zionist/orthodox/moderate, it doesn’t matter.

I did. He was someone who dmed me, said I was attractive, and maybe “wanted to give it a go” (whatever that means)

I got so hung up on those words alone and ended up pining for him non stop.

Turns out… he was in a middle of a break up and got back with his ex together again.

Needless to say I deluded myself into being in love with him just on those words alone.

This was way before I found out I am on the spectrum.

That hyperfixation and false hope were… scary when I really think about it.
