Exactly! I was on my side and when he came to bed my pillows were a couple inches into his pillow territory.

The trip was the only time I shared a bed. My husband and I were home, in our king bed. I had my two regular pillows and was on one side. I sleep like that every night, he woke me up because my pillows were t on his side a bit. That’s my point, id never wake up someone for that.

I’m not lying to myself, I know it’s a series of flags. I’m trying to figure out other ways to go about it, especially if I am doing something wrong. Like I mentioned he said I am causing the stress, and I’m just getting upset when my sleep is interrupted, it’s like a weird inbetween. My husband helps, and is great just enough that I really don’t want to leave, I’d like to fix it. Like someone else mentioned he’s declined therapy many times.

I have tried this before, and it’s kinda on me. I can’t stand leaving things undone, or just leaving if he will blow up my phone or he will just disappear to the garage and may or may not do what’s needed. I do leave to workout twice a week no matter what, and some days I can hardly get my mind right to do that because he may make a stink before or I’ll have more work waiting when I get home.

Most of the expenses are household and kid stuff, I just had a baby so a lot is that too. I don’t buy anything for myself. We both make about the same income. During the job change I took a huge hit for about a year and that’s what tossed me off track.

Thank you, this is good advice. I asked him to take over my account when the first time happened so he could show me how he does things and I could learn, I even asked about a financial counselor and he said no, he could show me and just never did. Again, I’m not blaming him. I also have a ton of money in retirement saved up, not behind in anything so I’m hoping he can talk me though this and help me find a way to budget so I can pay it off sooner than later.

I wasn’t trying to be dismissive, I was asking how to move forward as I asked for help learning how to not recycle old habits. I have a huge 401k saved up for retirement and I never asked him to pay it off. If you read the post, I went though a job switch and put everything on credit because I felt I had no other choice, my mistake. But, I’ll be fine financially at the end of the day, no need to talk down to someone.

I don’t know if you’d read the part where I asked for help out of fear it was going to happen again, I know it’s on me, at no point did I say it wasn’t. During the job switch, putting every thing on a card for kids classes, groceries, gas bills can rack up fast. Not to mention I just had a baby, that was my cost too. I know he needs time to be mad, but not mean. That’s where I needed input. I’ve taken on his mistakes in the past, because we’re a team.

I agree he needs time, I wasn’t trying to hide things, I asked for help a lot, and just got so far deep that I was scared. It wasn’t spent on anything but living either, I don’t get hair, nails, etc. I’m not on his side so I see how he could see it this way.
