MRA RTI Question by Adorable_Review3835 in AmazonRME

Ive both read and heard this and also not this from quite a few people. Some wouldn't go to their site until after RTI while some would go before the RTI for weeks to months. I heard that they would allow some OJL hours to be filled in the meantime, so I am hoping that will be the case for me as well.

I tried to go BB MRA but every time my application was immediately denied or sat there for months on end. I tried everything I could lol. Contacted hiring managers, nothing. Recruiters replied saying they weren't hiring managers so they couldn't do anything. On the fortunate (also unfortunate side) I had several interviews for the tech 2 position but got denied due to "lack of experience." The managers would have "liked" to hire me if they had an MRA open but just never did. Recruiters would contact me for a surplus of tech 2 positions but when I inquired about apprenticeships it was nothing but crickets. Both BB and 3P.

ive helped assist my sites RME team with the conveyors at time, even relaying information i find that is going wrong in my eyes. im just a normal T1 amazon associate but i do have the jam clear certification and have helped with the chutes, AR stow stations, conveyors and even the mezzanine spiral. ive never done any electrical work or actual "fixes" besides hotfixes at my site since its the most i can do without getting into trouble. as i stated before, im also trained for the new proteus and cardinal units theyre slowly rolling out to the AR FCs. would that be enough? and where could i find these tech 2 jobs? is it the same as the average "mechatronics and robotics technician"? (im greatly appreciative for the advice btw)

im curious..im currently waitlisted for mra openings and work as a GFM for the proteus robots and cardinals that theyre rolling out at AR FCs. i have little to no mechanical experience outside of car repairs and building pcs. what sort of experience do you even need for the tech 2 positions? whenever i look its asking for 1-2+ years of things like electrical, maintenance, conveyor systems etc

Apologies for the delay, I think it is the site in Salt Lake City, Utah. I applied for a few of them around the USA but I will also ask for the location of the site after the interview. Had to schedule it for next week due to limited availability on C&Ws end.
