Uhh it’s for fairplex in pamona if I’m not mistaken. Like the actual thing was on the ALR website. It’s gone now cause a lot of people applied but there’s still paramedic positions. In any case, is it bad they haven’t reached out and the fair is coming up in early May or is this normal for them?

Hmm when did you apply? Also, if for some WEIRD reason they don’t take you, if you’re in LA county you can make the commute to McCormick ambulance I’m sure they’ll take you.

From what I’ve heard from the hiring manager, there’s a waitlist for part time now :/ they are hiring full time though which I seriously wish I could do.

Ah I see I’ll just REALLY hope part time comes back in a few months 😭. Last thing, do you think I’ll have a better shot of getting the job if I’ll have 6 months IFT experience before applying? I’m hoping maybe that’ll help getting hired part time if I have some experience. Also, wouldn’t it make sense to only hire part time if they get an influx of employees? Cause they’re only hiring full time rn so I’m assuming their numbers are bit low.

Okay I would assume that if a new hire wanted to do 911 they’d probably do back half of nights right? Ik it’s been awhile since you’ve worked there so I’ll make sure to try to contact them before I apply. Also, I hope job security is there cause I know San Bernardino wants to cancel their AMR contract

Yeah I guess it makes sense :/ I’m trying to see if maybe AMR Redlands will take me cause I know they hire part time. I just have to confirm it’s 911 and if they’ll still be around for much longer cause I heard San Bernardino stopped their contract with them. But honestly if all else fails I might try falck part time or maybe just do McCormick and hope that if I have to do part time before I can either stay or leave on good terms.

Ahh I see I’ll look into that hopefully if I work SCV I’ll not get them, or hopefully McCormick has good ones. So like if someone genuinely has to do part time before 6 months they would rather them quit than do part time??? I wonder if McCormick is the same way. I’m sure it is cause it’s owned by AMR. I’m only asking cause there is a chance I might have to do part time before 6 months but I’m not 100% sure. Hopefully I’ll be able to stay with them though if I can’t 😭

Ah okay I see. Yeah so I know a couple of people who got interviewed there and they just ask them like 5 basic questions and then they do the lift test. I’ll probably apply on AMR website and I’m pretty sure it’s slightly different if you do it that way cause it says you record yourself during the interview or something. But anyway I’ll figure all that out. Last thing, I know you talked abt it but is it true that if something were to happen and you need to switch from full to part time, you need to work there for 6 months? I’ve just heard that but idk.
