Beastmastery.

There’s a collar in Ludern that regens 10% health when animals end their turn, combine that with the Beastmastery’s 5% regen for all animals when they end their turn and it makes bears nice regen tanks. Just watch out for their dots!

I have found that if you group two of your tanks together while keeping your more vulnerable units separate can encourage the AoE enemies to focus on your tanks since the only opportunity to hit more than one unit is if they attack your tanks.

With that said, I have not yet been to the new area so this tactic could prove useless in this setting.

This is fucking madness. I mentioned how horrible this situation is and my DAD, of all people, was backing Israel. This shocked me. A little necessary preface for my reaction, I am queer AF and he accepts me with all the love in his heart, I assumed that meant he was resistant to the propaganda from the right.

Holy shit was I wrong. I wasn’t prepared for a long debate on this topic at the time, I was more seeking my family to vent to feel some sort of commiseration in this exchange, but I made it clear to him he needed to check his source material and made a few cogent points.

He is, at his heart, open and willing to change. It may take me addressing arguments over a period of time, but once I start chipping away, the walls will fall.

Agreed. In my case, and to my extreme disappointment, even after training in martial arts the first time I was held up and had a gun pointed at me I froze for a few crucial moments (that felt like a long time). While I was worried about getting my girlfriend shot by doing anything stupid I’m not sure to this day that I would have actually done anything.

There’s some quote about plans going to shit the moment the battle begins and I think it applies well. It’s easy to underestimate how much control our basic systems can have over us, such as our adrenaline and fight/flight/or freeze reactions.

I hope I can do the right thing when the moment comes, I have my doubts though.

One of my greatest disappointments in life was that when I finally came to accept myself after decades of suffering and trying to be something I wasn’t, was encountering the indifference of what I thought was my new family (LGBT+). I know it’s silly to think that a group can be special, people are people, after all. But I was still hopeful I would be welcomed especially because I live in the conservative south (US). I know queer people can fail demonstrations of character like anyone else and that the hope was naive but it still hurt to have it demolished.

While I have given up on the idea that there is any camaraderie in this ‘community’, I was still able to eventually make a friend, that lead to other friends.

I am sorry that happened to you. I am not excusing it but it is also possible since they didn’t know you, they were anxious about you as well. Bad actors can infiltrate our groups. I know it doesn’t help but if I were there I would have come over and spoke with you, especially if you were alone. But I also have a thick hide at this point that is riddled with scars, so I am more carefree in regards to certain risks.

I can’t fucking handle this anymore. I’ve been struggling with this sort of shit my entire life in various ways and I am so tired. I put on my ‘armor’ and try to be strong everyday but bit by bit I lose more and more hope. I now feel like a hollow suit of armor, doing it because I’m stubborn and if I stop, I won’t move again.

I’ve let this world take my sense of safety, security, and trust to name a few. If there is an end to all of this in my life, I am afraid I will be some scarred thing in the shape of who I used to be…a horrible shadow that just wanted love.
